It is concluded that health promotion, based on an expanded health model, is necessary in primary care services throughout the subjects' entire life cycle.A Política Nacional de Promoção da Saúde destaca especial relevância às ações voltadas ao envelhecimento e a Política Nacional de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa aponta para a importância da organização do sistema de saúde frente ao envelhecimento populacional, com destaque para a promoção da saúde. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo investigar a percepção de profissionais das equipes de atenção primária de Arroio do Tigre/RS sobre as ações da política de promoção da saúde voltadas para os idosos, com vistas a contribuir no fomento de um entorno propício e favorável ao envelhecimento. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo e transversal, realizado por meio de um estudo de caso no município de Arroio do Tigre/RS. A amostra foi composta por sete profissionais de saúde das equipes de atenção primária que desenvolvem ações de promoção da saúde do idoso, sendo caracteriza como intencional e por indicações sucessivas, sendo finalizada mediante saturação dos dados. Os instrumentos utilizados para a coleta foram o grupo focal e a entrevista semiestruturada individual. O roteiro com as questões norteadoras foi elaborado pelas autoras com base na Política Nacional de Promoção da Saúde e Política Nacional de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio da análise temática proposta por Minayo (2010). O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (CAAE 25985719.9.0000.5346), sendo que todos os sujeitos participaram de forma voluntária e assinaram o Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido. Os profissionais que participaram – amostra - foram um nutricionista, um assistente social, um cirurgião-dentista, dois agentes comunitários de saúde e dois enfermeiros. As ações mapeadas foram as atividades grupais, a implantação da caderneta do idoso, as orientações nos atendimentos individuais/ visitas domiciliares e os dias de campanha. Considerando os protocolos de distanciamento social, os idosos deixaram de participar dos grupos, bem como se afastaram de amigos, conhecidos e familiares. As categorias que denotaram a percepção de profissionais das equipes de atenção primária sobre as ações da política de promoção da saúde voltadas para os idosos compreenderam o „acesso‟, „os determinantes da saúde‟, a „rede familiar‟, a „construção de saberes‟ e o „cuidado integral‟. Salienta-se que essas categorias apresentaram-se inter-relacionadas no contexto das ações. A partir dos resultados do estudo foram propostas diretrizes de promoção da saúde do idoso para a gestão municipal de saúde, com o objetivo de contribuir para a criação e manutenção de um entorno propício e favorável ao envelhecimento. Conclui-se que a promoção da saúde, baseada em um modelo de saúde ampliada, é necessária nos serviços de atenção primária no decorrer de todo o ciclo de vida dos sujeitos.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Gestão de Organizações PúblicasUFSMBrasilAdministração PúblicaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPolíticas públicas de saúdePromoção da saúdeIdosoAtenção primária à saúdeDeterminantes sociais da saúdePublic health policyHealth promotionAgedPrimary health careSocial determinants of healthCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ADMINISTRACAO::ADMINISTRACAO PUBLICAPromoção da saúde da população idosa na perspectiva de profissionais da saúde de equipes de atenção primária de Arroio do Tigre/RSHealth promotion of elderly population from the perspective of health professionals of primary care teams in Arroio do Tigre/RSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisKocourek, Sheilahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3494842729753586Mortari, Elisangela Carlosso MachadoMiolo, Silvana Bassohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1155618369131325Petermann, Xavéle Braatz6002002000096006006008f1cb893-1495-4b00-983d-cee784ebd0f321c5d4d6-8545-4504-8d06-0209116cf266b8b5c384-981c-477f-9946-4d1d929ea20368f92e10-4403-4ca7-b0b9-eced47438b61reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
