Resumo: | Population aging, as well as life expectancy, is a reality in studies. However, one must emphasize that developing countries, such as Brazil, have not accomplished a desired situation regarding public politics and social actions that should attend the specific demands for the elderly population. Thus, more and more private sectors have been developing alternatives to implant and/or implement actions that focus on the population necessities that is excluded from the society, whether it is the elderly or not. Enterprises, through the development of Corporate Social Responsibility programs (CSR), may supply demands and necessities that the government is not able to or does not do it in a satisfactory manner. Thus, one expects that the elderly feel more socially included as soon as they have Access to programs that meet their different necessities, allowing a bigger satisfaction with the welfare and the aging process. The present study had as an objective to analyze programs/projects of CSR focusing the elderly in na organization, and their influences in the aging process according to the elderly and the corporation leaders point of view. The research, based on the quanti-qualitative approach of exploratorydescriptive nature, was done in the Companhia Industrial Cataguases (CIC) and in the Instituto Francisca de Souza Peixoto (Instituto Chica), having as sample 4 strategic leaders - 1 from CIC and 3 from the Instituto Chica, together with 33 elderly participants of the activities offered in the latter. The selection of the strategic leaders as well as the elderly occurred in an intentional way, that is, according to their availability to participate of the survey during the data collection. The data collection took place in three stages: (1) study exploratory phase; (2) register of the elderly population and the interviews with the strategic leaders and, (3) the interviews with the elderly. The quantitative data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 15.0, for a uni-varied analysis and the qualitative data were transcribed, categorized, compared and treated based on the speech analysis. The results were presented in the format of 4 distinct articles and where it was concluded that the programs of social responsibility programs were developed by private institutions may supply the little efficiency of the government to provide useful public policies for a healthy aging. It was possible to understand that the strategic leaders point of view was very useful to encourage the enterprises to continue investing or start investing in specific programs for the elderly. Besides all that, the participation of the elderly in social activities has been seen as a minimizing factor in the aging process and it also contributes for the social inclusion. Regarding the elderly, they realized that aging is a natural process with positive as well as negative aspects, saying that they did not feel old just because they did not experience the physical and mental performance of their own age. Thus the perception of being elderly, disassociated from the idea of being old, provided them with satisfaction with the quality of life and the perspective of better welfare in the future. Ultimately, we have come to the conclusion that the elderly surveyed in the Instituto Chica, besides looking forward to a more active old age, one that is happy, with autonomy and independency, are elderly who are more aware of their possibilities as leaders of their own aging processes. In other words, not only do they understand aging as a natural process but they consider the practiced activities fundamental to have motivation, occupation and constant learning. In this context, they create the idea that they age with more satisfaction and personal, family and social welfare. |

In this context, they create the idea that they age with more satisfaction and personal, family and social welfare.O envelhecimento da população, assim como a sua expectativa de vida, é fato consumado em estudos.
