A pesquisa científica agropecuária como prática social: uma abordagem Bourdieusiana.

RESUMO - O objetivo deste trabalho foi o de compreender a p esquisa realizada no Centro de Pesquisa Agropecuária do Cerrado (CPAC) c omo uma prática social. Essa compreensão requereu a revisão das ideias sobr e a ciência como prática social e, especificamente, sobre a praxeologia bourdieusiana que versa sobre o campo social que envolve as práticas. Dessa forma, considerou-se o espaço social de lutas para influenciar a constituição da pesquisa. Espaço esse orientado por disposições para ação e estabelecido por meio d e diferenças entre seus agentes, que disputam capitais que os habilitam a c omandar e impor seus princípios ordenadores sobre a prática. Nesse senti do, resgatou-se a constituição histórica da prática de pesquisa no CPAC, foram inv estigadas as características distintivas entre os seus agentes e a manifestação de disputas com intuito de influenciar a conformação da pesquisa. A partir dis so, buscou-se identificar os capitais em jogo e as estratégias de manutenção e s ubversão da ordem estabelecida no campo. Este estudo utilizou como es tratégia metodológica a investigação do campo a partir de duas leituras, a primeira privilegiou os aspectos objetivos dispostos em documentos e normas , observados na conformação do espaço físico e nas relações entre o s agentes. A segunda leitura enfocou os aspectos subjetivos na constituição da p rática, investigados a partir das opiniões e visões dos agentes sobre a prática. A partir de uma abordagem circular de pesquisa, verificou-se a influência de algumas disposições advindas: da conformação da sociedade brasileira e do papel d a agricultura nesse âmbito; do contexto político quando da criação da prática; da forma como a ciência foi desenvolvida no Brasil e de como se configurou o Es tado brasileiro. A partir dessas disposições criou-se um espaço de diferenças político-científicas e de distinções calcadas principalmente no acúmulo de ca pitais culturais, burocráticos e científicos. As lutas relatadas em t orno desses capitais revelam estratégias de manutenção da ordem estabelecida, co mo a utilização do discurso da falta de foco da pesquisa no CPAC, bem como estr atégias de subversão dessa ordem, como a proposta de carreira única para seus empregados. ABSTRACT - The objective of this study was to understand the research conducted at the Center for Agricultural Research in the Cerrado (CPAC) as a social practice. This understanding required the revision of ideas a bout science as a social practice, and specifically about praxeology bourdie usiana that deals with the social field that involves practices. Thus, we cons idered the social space of struggle to influence the establishment of the rese arch. Space oriented provisions for this action and established through differences among its agents, vying capital that enable them to command and impose thei r ordering principles on the practice. In this sense, rescued the constitution o f historical research practice at CPAC, we investigated the characteristics distingui shing between his agents and the manifestation of disputes with intent to influe nce the conformation of the research. From this, we sought to identify the capi tal at stake and maintenance strategies and subversion of the established order in the field. This study used methodological strategy research field from two rea dings, the first focused on the objective aspects willing documents and standar ds, conformation observed in the physical space and the relationships between ag ents. The second reading focused on the subjective aspects in the constituti on of practice, investigated from the opinions and views of staff about practice . From a circular approach of research, there was the influence of some provision s arising from: the conformation of Brazilian society and the role of a griculture in this area, the political context when creating the practice, the w ay science was developed in Brazil and how to set up the Brazilian state. From these provisions created a space-scientific political differences and distinct ions sidewalks mainly in the accumulation of cultural capital, bureaucratic and scientific. Fights reported around these strategies reveal capital maintenance of the established order, as the use of the discourse of lack of research focus at C PAC, as well as strategies to subvert this order, as the proposed single career f or its employees.
