Baseado nisso, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as principais práticas diaconais e ensinamentos de Jesus que tiveram por finalidade servir de instrumento de inclusão social em seu tempo e suas possíveis consequências se aplicadas aos dias atuais. Para tanto, utilizamos a metodologia que consistiu em uma revisão bibliográfica, resultado da consulta à Bíblia, livros, artigos científicos, periódicos e material capturado na internet. Os principais resultados obtidos demonstram que Jesus pregava uma mensagem inclusiva e imperativa no sentido de convocar os seus discípulos a envidar esforços com o objetivo de suprimir as desigualdades sociais daquele tempo e que a sociedade atual se assemelha em muitos pontos ao que fora combatido por Jesus, com vários grupos de pessoas desassistidas, formados, especialmente, por crianças, pobres, doentes, idosos, analfabetos etc., bem como, que boa parte dos princípios defendidos por Jesus já se encontram inseridos em nossa Constituição Federal, necessitando de sua aplicação efetiva para que o Reino de Deus se estabeleça entre nós.The diakonia of Jesus shown through his teachings and attitudes demonstrates his caring for the less favored groups of his time, especially those who were at the base of the social pyramid. Based on this, the goal of this paper is to analyze the main diaconal practices and teachings of Jesus the goal of which were to serve as instruments of social inclusion in his time and their possible consequences if applied to current days. For this, we used the methodology which consisted in a bibliographic review resulting from consulting the Bible, books, scientific articles, periodicals and material captured on Internet.
