This thesis aims to analyze orthothanasia, without exhausting the subject, through a vision that embraces the dignity of life, present at death that occurs at the right time, without interference. Orthotanasia as we shall see is constitutionally contemplated by the principle of human dignity as a fundamental right such as the right to life, together with the principles of freedom and autonomy of will, without legislative output positively valued because it is not presented as illicit, the Institute of orthothanasia. We present definitions and differences of orthothanasia with related institutes, so that there is confusion, go through existing legislation, as well as a resolution of the Federal Council of Medicine on the subject. Analyzed ethics, bioethics and bioconstituição in dealing with orthothanasia. Here is the protection of the right personality, the right to life and the right to human dignity. We present a correlation of orthothanasia with bioethical principles, the fundamental duty, with otherness, with solidarity and humanistic ethical precept required for the understanding and assimilation of orthothanasia.
