A inspiração desta pesquisa, começa com um problema, onde a investigação de sua resolução envolve conceitos de Geometria, aspectos de Trigonometria, conceitos básicos de Álgebra, cálculo de Derivadas e Funções com mais de uma variável, deparou-se com a teoria de Taxas Relacionadas. O objetivo deste trabalho é propor situações de mobilização de conceitos matemáticos como base para uma análise de medições de velocidade, utilizando-se um medidor de velocidade portátil instalado em distâncias diversas em relação a um veículo em movimento. Esta pesquisa exploratória, sobre o próprio conteúdo de Taxas Relacionadas e sua aplicação prática em problemas da disciplina de Cálculo, faz um paralelo entre as dificuldades encontradas no Ensino de Matemática e como amenizar estas dificuldades, utilizando o Ensino por Investigação Matemática. Como conclusão, surge o Produto Técnico Tecnológico: SiVelCar – Mobilização de Conceitos Matemáticos no GeoGebra: Simulando Medições de Velocidade de um Veículo em Movimento, que é composto de um PDF interativo com o problema enunciado e o roteiro de algumas atividades além de uma simulação no GeoGebra, que apresenta diversos exemplos do problema, onde o professor do Ensino Médio e Superior, pode utilizá-lo como um guia e aplicá-lo em sua sala de aula.The Teaching of Mathematics is the object of investigation of several studies carried out in the field of Mathematics Education, where some proposals are made to reduce the difficulties of teaching this discipline in the classroom. The inspiration of this research begins with a problem, where the investigation of its resolution involves concepts of Geometry, aspects of Trigonometry, basic concepts of Algebra, calculation of Derivatives and Functions with more than one variable, faced with the theory of Related Rates . The objective of this work is to propose situations of mobilization of mathematical concepts as a basis for an analysis of speed measurements, using a portable speed meter installed at different distances in relation to a moving vehicle. This exploratory research, on the very content of Related Rates and its practical application in problems of the Calculus discipline, makes a parallel between the difficulties found in Mathematics Teaching and how to alleviate these difficulties, using Teaching by Mathematics Investigation.
