Além disso, foram estabelecidos os seguintes objetivos específicos: identificar o perfil dos discentes respondentes, explorar a percepção dos alunos em relação à Avaliação Docente pelo Discente, captar as emoções geradas durante o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e verificar a manifestação dos sentimentos de vingança e recompensa conforme a Teoria dos Sentimentos Morais. A pesquisa, de cunho descritivo, qualitativo e de campo, contou com a participação de 15 discentes regularmente matriculados no curso de Ciências Contábeis, na modalidade presencial, de uma Universidade Federal do Sul do Brasil. O instrumento de coleta de dados utilizado foi a entrevista, e a análise dos dados foi realizada por meio do software NVIVO. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que há uma gama de emoções e sentimentos no trato envolvendo discentes e docentes no ambiente de ensino-aprendizagem, sugerindo, dessa forma, o surgimento dos sentimentos de vingança e recompensa, podendo, conforme sugerem os resultados, terem forte influência na avaliação docente pelo discente, sendo que esses resultados proporcionaram uma compreensão mais aprofundada dos efeitos dos sentimentos de vingança e recompensa na Avaliação Docente pelo Discente, destacando a importância desses aspectos emocionais no processo de avaliação. A contribuição deste estudo reside na ampliação do conhecimento sobre a influência dos sentimentos dos alunos na avaliação dos professores, fornecendo insights relevantes para a prática educacional e abrindo caminho para futuras pesquisas sobre a dinâmica emocional no ensino superior. Ao abordar relatos de alunos que expressam pensamentos perturbadores e violentos em relação à vingança, contra os docentes, a pesquisa contribui para a identificação e conscientização sobre potenciais comportamentos violentos que podem surgir no contexto acadêmico.This study aimed to understand the reflections of the feelings of revenge and reward among Accounting students in the Teacher Evaluation by Students, in light of Adam Smith's Theory of Moral Sentiments. Additionally, the following specific objectives were established: to identify the profile of the responding students, to explore students' perceptions regarding the Teacher Evaluation by Students, to capture the emotions generated during the teaching-learning process, and to verify the manifestation of feelings of revenge and reward according to the Theory of Moral Sentiments. The research, which was descriptive, qualitative, and field-based, involved the participation of 15 students regularly enrolled in the Accounting course, in the face-to-face modality, at a Federal University in Southern Brazil. The data collection instrument used was the interview, and the data analysis was carried out using NVIVO software. The results showed that there is a range of emotions and feelings in the interaction involving students and teachers in the teaching-learning environment, thus suggesting the emergence of feelings of revenge and reward, which, as the results suggest, may have a strong influence on the teacher evaluation by students. These results provided a deeper understanding of the effects of feelings of revenge and reward in the Teacher Evaluation by Students, highlighting the importance of these emotional aspects in the evaluation process. The contribution of this study lies in expanding the knowledge about the influence of students' feelings on the evaluation of teachers, providing relevant insights for educational practice and paving the way for future research on the emotional dynamics in higher education.
