Resumo: The acceleration of the media globalization process all around the world brought out as a counter part a growing interest concerning the regional media. To study this matter in Brazil, it was decided to analyze how the program schedule is made for the give channel branches localized in the North, Northeast, Center-West, Southeast and South connected to a main national television net. The Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão was chosen by its presence is whole country and reaches a great number of homes. The qualitative method was used with descriptive pattern and the option for a multiple case with the purpose to obtain a comparative perspective considering the local branches programs. The main conclusion is that despite of a small regional program production with emphasis on news and interviews it can be started that in some regions the audience interest is for local cultural programs.(AU)

Para se examinar esse processo no Brasil, buscou-se analisar como a programação regional de cinco emissoras regionais afiliadas a uma rede nacional de televisão e localizadas no Norte, Nordeste, Centro-Oeste, Sudeste e Sul se articula com a programação nacional. A Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão foi escolhida por estar presente em todo o país e atingir um grande número de domicílios. O método utilizado é o qualitativo, de caráter descritivo e optou-se pelo estudo de caso múltiplo, com o objetivo de se obter uma perspectiva comparada da programação das emissoras regionais estudadas. A principal conclusão é que, apesar da pequena produção regional, com ênfase na informação (telejornal e entrevista) pode-se constatar, em algumas regiões, o interesse da audiência por programas voltados para a cultura regional.(AU)Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-03T12:30:50Z (GMT).
