Resumo: The present study aimed to analyze the pro-environmental behaviour (PEB) at the workplace. It is the first work on this subject carried out in Brazil to the best of our knowledge. For that reason, it was chosen to replicate two pioneering articles carried out in the Netherlands. The findings showed PEB = 3,48. Besides, it was found that women show a more positive pro-environmental behavior than men, and we also found significance in schooling and age. The research took place during the Covid-19 pandemic period, which allowed some observations. Two models were designed for analysis using structural equations (PLS-SEM) to verify the cause and effect relationship between the constructs, measuring their influence on the intention to act and pro-environmental behaviour. The research instrument was translated into Portuguese and underwent adjustments to the Brazilian context. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), new hypotheses have been proposed. Finally, an association with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) suggests that this behaviour in the workplace can be used as an indicator of the SDG12. Also, the results can provide subsidies oriented to sustainability for companies and public policymakers.

Submitted by Nadir Basilio (nadirsb@uninove.br) on 2021-05-27T15:33:19Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Mariana Moutinho Monteiro de Messas.pdf: 564205 bytes, checksum: f4b9f8c066f9d767a490692b3fe480ca (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-05-27T15:33:19Z (GMT).
