Resumo: This qualitative research has the objective of the vocational high school student's view on their formation. In order to investigate the degree of satisfaction of this student with regard to their future professional insertion, structured interviews were used as questionnaire in a questionnaire format. A total of 107 students were randomly selected for the application of the questionnaires, 26 of which were former students of Technical Education and the remaining students were in training. The questionnaires were answered based on their personal impressions on the adequacy of the contents to the needs of their professional training. The group was made up of students with a differentiated profile in terms of social class, purchasing power and cultural formation. The subjects are students or graduates of a private institution that receives students from different ethnic groups, such as Italians, Japanese, Portuguese, Lebanese, Afro-descendants, among others. Considering that they are students coming from neighborhoods with a majority of proletarian residents and diversified cultural formation, a heterogeneous group formed, which nevertheless presented a characteristic common to all with regard to content acquisition. This characteristic is related to the appropriation of concepts that allow them an adequate insertion in the labor market. The interviews were answered using an electronic form. The results were submitted to techniques of quantitative evaluation and content analysis, based on the theoretical contribution of Adorno (1985, 2002) and Paulo Freire (1987, 1996). It was tried to answer if in the technical formation it is necessary the application of training for the development of complementary skills and competences of the students and alumni. The results of the research were the basis for the construction of an intervention proposal that intends to point out ways to curricular innovation, besides fomenting the organization of professional improvement workshops with the graduates of the analyzed courses.

Para investigar el nivel de satisfacción de este estudiante con respecto a su futura inserción profesional, se utilizaron entrevistas estructuradas en formato de cuestionario. Un total de 107 estudiantes fueron seleccionados al azar para la aplicación de los cuestionarios, 26 de los cuales eran antiguos estudiantes de Educación Técnica y los restantes estudiantes todavía estaban estudiando. Los cuestionarios fueron contestados basándose en sus impresiones personales sobre la adecuación de los contenidos a sus necesidades de formación profesional. El grupo estaba compuesto por estudiantes con un perfil diferenciado en términos de clase social, poder adquisitivo y formación cultural. Son estudiantes o graduados de una institución privada que recibe estudiantes de diferentes grupos étnicos, como italianos, japoneses, portugueses, libaneses, afrodescendientes, entre otros. Teniendo en cuenta que se trata de estudiantes procedentes de barrios con una mayoría de residentes proletarios y de formación cultural diversificada, se formó un grupo heterogéneo, sin embargo, presentó una característica común a todos en materia de adquisición de contenidos. Esta característica se relaciona con la apropiación de conceptos que les permiten una inserción adecuada en el mercado de trabajo. Las entrevistas fueron contestadas usando un formulario electrónico. Los resultados fueron sometidos a técnicas de evaluación cuantitativa y análisis de contenido, basadas en la contribución teórica de Adorno (1985, 2002) y Paulo Freire (1987, 1996). Se trató de responder si en la formación técnica es necesaria la aplicación de la formación para el desarrollo de competencias complementarias y competencias de los estudiantes y graduados. Los resultados de la investigación fueron la base para la construcción de una propuesta de intervención que pretende indicar formas de innovación curricular, además de fomentar la organización de talleres de mejora profesional con los graduados de los cursos analizados.Esta pesquisa de cunho qualitativo tem por objeto o olhar do estudante do Ensino Médio profissionalizante sobre sua formação. Com o objetivo de investigar o grau de satisfação desse aluno com relação à sua futura inserção profissional, adotou-se como instrumento de pesquisa entrevistas estruturadas em formato de questionário. Foram escolhidos aleatoriamente para a aplicação dos questionários, 107 estudantes, sendo 26 ex-alunos do Ensino Técnico e os demais, alunos em formação. Os questionários foram respondidos com base em suas impressões pessoais sobre a adequação dos conteúdos às necessidades de sua formação profissional. O grupo formado revelou-se composto de alunos com perfil diferenciado em termos de classe social, poder aquisitivo e formação cultural. Os sujeitos são alunos ou egressos de uma instituição particular que recebe alunos de diversas etnias, tais como italianos, japoneses, portugueses, libaneses, afrodescendentes, entre outros. Considerando que são alunos advindos de bairros com maioria de moradores proletários e diversificada formação cultural, formou-se um grupo heterogêneo que, no entanto, apresentava uma característica comum a todos com relação à aquisição de conteúdos; tal característica está relacionada à apropriação de conceitos que lhes permitem uma adequada inserção no mercado de trabalho. As entrevistas foram respondidas por meio de formulário eletrônico. Os resultados foram submetidos a técnicas de avaliação quantitativa e análise de conteúdo, balizados pela contribuição teórica de Adorno (1985; 2002) e Paulo Freire (1987; 1996). Buscou-se responder se na formação técnica se faz necessária a aplicação de formação para o desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências complementares dos alunos e egressos.
