The study aimed to investigate the presence of women in Goiás Court of Justice rather than of the general number of employess, based on the Diagnosis of Female Participation in the Judiciary published by CNJ in 2019. There was a historiographical contextualization of the presence of the Court of Justice in Goiás history since colonial Brazil, passing through the figures and political postures in the state that were so influential to the collective thought, capable of generating representations and imaginary constructions of the feminist movement and the participatory achievements of womwn in politics, economy and Society. It was invited to the study the history of feminist movement, for its great utility to historiographical understanding of the representation of women. Soon after, the questiono r frepresentation according to Chartier was verified, as well as reflections on construction of the collective imaginary acout the treatment given to women throughout the history of humanity. Thus, contemporary data were obtained and the first opportunities for participatory achievements os Brazilian women regarding political participation, study opportunities, career development and reaching the highest level of the Judiciary were verified. Therefone, the quantitative approach was assential. Througt the data from Diagnosis of Female Participation in the Judiciary published in 2019 in opposition to the data abtained from the TJGO Transparency Portal, the percentage of effective female servants, magistrates and active judges in the Court’s staff was assessed. Thues, through the data collected and projected through graphics, it was possible to verify that women have been able to occupy more positions in Goiás Court since the redemocratization in 1988, but it is a very slow Evolution, which does not follow the social progression of the feminist movement. Based on the bibliographic analysis carried out and, mainly through the researched data, it was observed that the policy of correction of discrimination and correction of the gender binomial is still far from the ideal. The need for effective inclusive public policies in this field becomes necessary so that the dignity and identity of the women’s representation in Goiás Court of Justice can be respected.
