Resumo: This research entitled “The Policy of Verticalization of Teaching at the Instituto Federal Goiano - Campus Trindade and the Possibilities of the Itineraries Formative of the Student”, inserted in the line of research Education, Society and Culture and is linked to the Cultural Diversity Project in Educational, National e Internacional Policies and Guidelines. Since the verticalization of education is a consolidated policy at the IF Goiano - Campus Trindade, what would be its implications in the formative itinerary of students graduating from Vocational Education Integrated to High School, considering the economic, social and cultural, objective and subjective conditions of permanence and school success at the subsequente level. The research objectives are placed in the understanding of the policy of verticalization of education and its implications in the formative itineraries of the students graduating from the Vocational Education Integrated to High School of Campus Trindade, to analyze the possibilities and limits of the politics of verticalization of the teaching in the formative itinerary of the students and to identify if and how the verticalization of education acts as a factor of permanence in the IF Goiano – Campus Trindade. As a methodology, bibliographic research was used, with a survey of bibliographic sources that deal with elements of the political, economic and professional education field, document analysis of documents referring to the implementation of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, of the Development Plan Institutional of the IF Goiano (PDI), Pedagogical Project of integrated high school and higher education courses and field research with application of a sociocultural questionnaire and semi-structured interview with graduates of Integrated High School. Antonio Gramsci, author who served as one of the parameters for the pedagogical and political proposal of the Federal Institutes, and Pierre Bourdieu through the adoption of Reflexive Sociology and its other concepts for the analysis of social reality will be used as theoretical contribution. In the first chapter, the influence of capital and the State in the formation of the worker was discussed. In the second chapter, the historical reconstitution of professional education in Brazil until the current legislation was carried out. Chapter III addresses the policy of verticalization of education at Instituto Federal Goiano and Campus Trindade, as well as the social, economic and cultural profile of the graduates. Chapter IV analyzes and discusses the training itineraries of graduates through the data obtained through the application of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The data reveal that the Vocational Education Integrated to High School provides students with a human, integral and omnilateral formation and conditions to access to college in the Campus Trindade itself, through the policy of verticalization of education, or in other university.

Sendo a verticalização do ensino uma política consolidada no IF Goiano – Campus Trindade, quais seriam suas implicações no itinerário formativo de estudantes egressos do Ensino Médio Integrado em que pese as condições econômicas, sociais e culturais, objetivas e subjetivas de permanência e êxito escolar no nível subsequente? Os objetivos da pesquisa se colocam na compreensão da política de verticalização do ensino e suas implicações nos itinerários formativos dos alunos egressos do Ensino Médio Integrado do Campus Trindade, analisar as possibilidades e limites da política de verticalização do ensino no itinerário formativo dos estudantes e identificar se e como a verticalização do ensino atua como um fator de permanência no IF Goiano – Campus Trindade. Como metodologia foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica com levantamento das fontes bibliográficas que versam sobre os elementos do campo político, econômico e da educação profissional, a análise documental dos documentos referentes à implantação da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica, do Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional do IF Goiano (PDI), Projeto Pedagógico dos cursos de ensino médio integrado e superior e a pesquisa de campo com aplicação de questionário sociocultural e entrevista semiestruturada com os egressos do Ensino Médio Integrado. Como aporte teórico foram utilizados principalmente Antonio Gramsci, autor que serviu como um dos parâmetros para a proposta pedagógica e política dos Institutos Federais, e Pierre Bourdieu através da adoção da Sociologia Reflexiva e de seus demais conceitos para análise da realidade social. No primeiro capítulo foi discutido a influência do capital e do Estado na formação do trabalhador. No segundo capítulo foi realizada a reconstituição histórica da educação profissional no Brasil até a legislação atual. O capítulo III aborda a política de verticalização do ensino no Instituto Federal Goiano - Campus Trindade, como também o perfil social, econômico e cultural do egressos. O capítulo IV analisa e debate os itinerários formativos dos egressos através dos dados obtidos pela aplicação de questionário e entrevistas semiestruturadas.
