This dissertation aimed to comprehend, through the Peter Berger‟s concept of nomos , how the Inclusive Theology and the Inclusive Church provide nomos and religious experience for its membership, mostly gays and lesbians. Furthermore, we sought to comprehend how the process of legitimation of the Inclusive Church happens. At first, we contextualized the simultaneous starting point of the Inclusive Theology and the Inclusive Church, in the USA, at the late 1960‟s, and their subsequent arrival in Brazil at the 1990‟s. We also considered the MBH Homosexual Brazilian Movement (Movimento Homossexual Brasileiro), the first groups post-dictatorship and their actions that contributed to give visibility to the LGBTT in Brazil and to the consolidation of their rights. Our field analysis took place in the religious space of the Inclusion‟s Path Church (Igreja Caminho da Inclusão), in the city of Goiânia - Goiás. We participated of many cults and church activities until the end of the research. Its members are men and women that recognize themselves as homosexuals and, before that, they moved away from their original churches (traditional churches) due to their sexual orientations. A sociological reading permeates this research. Nonetheless, anthropology and theology theorists also support it.
