Resumo: The object of this dissertation is the work Terra sonâmbula (2007), Mia Couto, Mozambican writer. This research analyzes the act of reading practiced by the characters, under the guidance of Hans Robert Jauss (Aesthetics of Reception) and Wolfgang Iser (Aesthetic Theory of Effect), fundamentally. Thus, attempts to interpret the course of reading the characters exercised with that weaves fictional narrative and the effects of meaning resulting from the act of reading producer, from two narrators: Muidinga and Kindzu. Seek to demonstrate that the act of reading shows up as a possibility to dream, even in a scenario war-torn Mozambique. If a shelter is machimbombo charred, is eyeing the books that Kindzu Muidinga, Tuahir and reader Terra sonâmbula noted that this same machimbombo, located on the dusty road, stories unfold through the word: symbol of the world the writing is on the road moving paths and walking directions directing the reader.

Nesta pesquisa, analisa-se o ato de leitura praticado pelas personagens, sob a orientação de Hans Robert Jauss (Estética da Recepção) e Wolfgang Iser (Teoria do Efeito Estético), fundamentalmente. Assim, busca-se interpretar o percurso da leitura exercitada pelas personagens com que se tece a narrativa de ficção e os efeitos de sentido decorrentes do ato produtor de leitura, a partir de dois narradores: Muidinga e Kindzu. Procura-se demonstrar que o ato de ler mostra-se como possibilidade de sonhar, mesmo em um cenário dilacerado pela guerra moçambicana. Se um machimbombo carbonizado é abrigo, é de olho nos cadernos de Kindzu que Muidinga, Tuahir e o leitor de Terra sonâmbula tomam conhecimento de que nesse mesmo machimbombo, localizado na estrada poeirenta, desdobram-se histórias por meio da palavra: símbolo de que o mundo da escrita é a estrada em que se movimentam caminhos e sentidos direcionando a caminhada do leitor.Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-10T11:06:53Z (GMT).
