Resumo: This work is linked to the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Education at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás in the line of research: Education, Society and Culture. It adheres to the research group 'Youth and Education' registered with the CNPq and is part of the research project entitled: Cultural Diversity and Education - Youth, Political Participation, Organizations and Social Movements in the 21st Century. The general objective is focused on understanding the formative processes and the relationship between Education and the female protagonism present in social struggles for housing in SHIS neighborhoods, considering sociocultural aspects, the valuation of women heads of families and neighborhood leaders, based on place that they occupy. It starts with the following research problem: what is the trajectory of a group of women in the struggle for access to social rights, including housing and education? The work focused on the analysis of the discourse and practice that they have in the experience of a situation of vulnerability, from their departure from the rural environment, still in their childhood, in the search for insertion in the industrialized city, today with their children. Theoretically guided by Henri Lefebvre, Pierre Bourdieu, Michelle Perrot, Hannah Arendt and Marília Pontes Spósito, on access to social rights as an object of struggle by agents who live their daily lives in search of liberation from an oppressive social reality for subsistence and Education for their children, the stage of these struggles is the neighborhood, a portion of access to urban space. We started from the assumption of the right to housing in modern societies as a central part of the right to the city, based on Lefebvre (2001), who argues that everyone should have access to urban life as a representation of the space experienced, perceived, imagined and conceived as part of everyday life. The qualitative research used documents related to the reality of social inclusion/exclusion of families led by women in the SHIS neighborhoods of Anápolis, in the Educational scenario based on housing ownership to continue the struggle for other social rights. Methodologically, it was guided by the Oral History and Content Analysis of Bardin (2001) in conducting and analyzing the interviews. 30 agents answered the sociocultural questionnaire and of these, 10 participants were interviewed, in a quantitative equivalence to the number of homes delivered by the program in the 2009-2014 period in the city. The final considerations demonstrate the importance of the daily struggle of women heads of household and neighborhood association leaders in facing the situation of vulnerability, in raising their family and for access to housing, education and maintenance of life. It also demonstrates that the school institution, from the perspective of these women, has not guaranteed a set of knowledge that provides these agents with a purposeful insertion in the social dispute, in the construction of the right to live with dignity with their family, in the city and neighborhood in which they live. and that the social movements related to the struggle for home ownership have not provided a critical formation based on their praxis

Made available in DSpace on 2021-11-25T19:22:58Z (GMT).
