It is true that one of the most important democratic achievements in the contemporary world was the separation of religion and politics. In Brazil, the separation of State and Church occurred only with the establishment of the republican regime in 1889, after almost four (4) centuries of monopoly of the Roman Catholic Church as an official religion. However, today it is perceived that in our society there is a movement of reallocation of the religious in the structures of state political power. However, the march that can be seen no longer comes from Catholicism but from the so-called evangelicals, a group that brings together the most varied denominations and trends of Protestantism. The analysis that is proposed, based on the research carried out for the construction of this study, consists in the search for identifying the existence of a group of evangelical Christians, acting in an institutionalized way within the State, from the legal imposition of theological and confessional elements, on the legislative process of the country, leading the parliament to exercise its office, which is the elaboration of norms, in defiance of what determines its own Constitution. In the same way, we will seek to understand the concepts of secularism and laicism, through national legislation, the jurisprudence of our courts and the behavior of the group within the National Congress, in order to identify possible risks to state secularism of the existence and conduct of the so-called Evangelical Parliamentary Front
