Resumo: The purpose of this dissertation is to investigate the structuring of the social representation about affectivity, which is present among the teachers and students of High School and the academics in the Humanities and Social Sciences area of higher education, in order to know the values in which they are anchored. To that end, we rely on the studies of Moscovici and his collaborators, as well as on other authors who contribute to the theme, such as Piaget (2014), Rockeach (1973), Schwartz (2005), Spadoni (2016). Therefore, it is believed that this is a productive field for research and, for this reason, we propose to verify the knowledge of the social representations of teachers and academic students about the affective aspects, values and emotions that surround the teaching and learning process. The present research used the qualitative and quantitative approach of descriptive-interpretative character. Data collection was done through a questionnaire consisting of open and closed questions, as well as requests for word evocation, which were analyzed in the Trideux-Monts program (Version 5.2). The data were collected in the first semester of 2018, in three schools of the state network of Goiás, whose participants were high school teachers; and at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás, whose participants were students from the Humanities and Social Sciences of Higher Education. The questions are about how the teacher and the students in formation perceive affectivity in education, what values are present in the teaching and learning process, and what emotions and attitudes are most perceptible to them in pedagogical practice. The analysis of the data points to a Social Representation about affectivity directed toward the student, predominantly composed of pleasant emotions. The values are traditional, conservative and self-transcendent, with respect as the main element, showing little emphasis on openness to change and self-determination. The themes were discussed in order to clarify the main conclusions and answer the problem and the objectives of the research.

Para tal, apoiamo-nos nos estudos de Moscovici e seus colaboradores, além de recorrer a outros autores que contribuem para a temática, como Piaget (2014), Rockeach (1973), Schwartz, (2005), Spadoni (2016). Logo, acredita-se ser este um campo produtivo para a pesquisa e, por este motivo, propomos o verificar o conhecimento das representações sociais dos professores e alunos acadêmicos sobre os aspectos afetivos, valores e emoções que circundam o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. A presente pesquisa utilizou a abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa de caráter descritivo-interpretativo. A coleta de dados deuse por meio de questionário constituído de questões abertas e fechadas, e também de solicitações de evocação de palavras, que foram analisados no programa Trideux-Monts (Version 5.2). Os dados foram coletados no primeiro semestre de 2018, em três escolas da rede estadual de Goiás, cujos participantes foram professores do Ensino Médio; e na Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás, cujos participantes foram alunos da Área Ciências Humanas e Sociais do Ensino Superior. As questões versam sobre como o professor e os alunos em formação percebem a afetividade na educação, quais valores estão presentes no processo ensino e aprendizagem e sobre quais emoções e atitudes são mais perceptíveis para eles na prática pedagógica. A análise dos dados aponta para uma Representação Social sobre afetividade voltada para o aluno, predominantemente composta por emoções de caráter agradável. Os valores se mostram tradicionais, conservadores e autotranscendentes, tendo como elemento principal o respeito, demonstrando pouca ênfase na abertura às mudanças e na autodeterminação.
