Resumo: In Psychology, the concept of crime is directly linked to human conduct, therefore, what matters is understanding the act itself of the individual who commits the crime. The psychological and social conditions of the individual and culture are elements that make up the notion of crime. This research, in turn, is based on the theory of subjectivity, based on the constructive-interpretative method, which allows the construction of comprehensive theoretical models with explanatory value on the subjectivity of people who have commited crimes. The look at subjectivity is when emotion and the symbolic constitute a unit that generates subjective meanings and subjective configurations. This work aims to understand the subjective configurations of people convicted of violent crimes, and to achieve this objective, it was developed in a Security Prison Unit in the interior of the state of Goiás, in which two men aged between 28 and 34 participated. years, convicted of violent crimes. It was noted that subjective meanings, generated by life experiences, can have different meanings in each person´s life, contributing or not to involvement in crime and that different aspects can influence an individual to become involved in crime, in this way, crime is understood as the expression of subjective conflicts of each individual.

As condições psicológicas e sociais do indivíduo e a cultura são elementos que compõem a noção do crime. Esta pesquisa, por sua vez, sustenta-se na Teoria da Subjetividade, fundamentada no método construtivo-interpretativo, que possibilita a construção de modelos teóricos compreensivos com valor explicativo sobre a subjetividade de pessoas que cometeram crimes. O olhar para a subjetividade é quando a emoção e o simbólico se constituem como unidade geradora de sentidos subjetivos e configurações subjetivas. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de compreender as configurações subjetivas de pessoas condenadas por crimes violentos, e para o alcance desse objetivo, foi desenvolvido em uma Unidade Prisional de Segurança do interior do estado de Goiás, em que participaram dois homens com idades entre 28 e 34 anos, condenados por crimes violentos.
