Resumo: | This research, affiliated to the Research Line State, Policy and Educational Institutions, has as its theme a study by FUNAPE at the Federal University of Goiás. It brings up the following research problem: How FUNAPE managed its management for the 2018 period and how its actions converged to UFG's Institutional Development Plan. The general objective of this study is to analyze the contributions, contradictions and challenges of the support foundations, specifically from FUNAPE, in relation to UFG. In order to achieve the intended goal, we set out the specific objectives, namely: to discuss the process of understanding what support foundations are; identify and analyze the development of thought and theoretical knowledge about the foundations of support and verify through the actions of FUNAPE, the relationship between its performance and the Institutional Development Plan - PDI of UFG. To answer the problem and reach the goal we use a qualitative approach as a methodology. This study goes through bibliographic, documentary and empirical research, having as primary source the analysis of the documents provided in the PDI and the accountability of FUNAPE. The analysis of the empirical research showed little convergence between the UFG PDI and FUNAPE projects The information presented and the analyzes carried out in this work, allowed us to conclude that FUNAPE, as an institution supporting UFG, plays an important role, however we understand that Projects coordinated by FUNAPE are not directly related to the Actions provided for in the UFG PDI |

Traz o seguinte problema de pesquisa: Como a FUNAPE realizou a sua gestão do período de 2018 e de que forma as suas ações convergiram para o Plano Desenvolvimento Institucional da UFG. O objetivo geral deste estudo é analisar as contribuições, contradições e os desafios das fundações de apoio, em específico da FUNAPE, em relação à UFG. Para alcançar a meta pretendida traçamos os objetivos específicos a saber: discutir o processo de entendimento do que sejam fundações de apoio; identificar e analisar o desenvolvimento do pensamento e conhecimento teórico sobre as fundações de apoio e verificar através das ações da FUNAPE, a relação entre sua atuação e o Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional- PDI da UFG. Para responder ao problema e alcançarmos o objetivo utilizamos uma abordagem qualitativa como metodologia. Este estudo perpassa por pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e empírica, tendo como fonte primária a análise dos documentos dispostos no PDI e da prestação de contas da FUNAPE.
