Memórias e histórias de Itaguari-GO: entre o tempo e o espaço (1946-2018)

Resumo: The urban formation and the social and spatial transformations that occurred over time in Itaguari, Goiás, show how the urbanization of the city was determined by the combination of multiple favorable historical factors. Among them, we can mention the expansion of the agricultural frontier; the strong colonization of Mato Grosso Goiano; spontaneous colonization; the emergence of urban agglomerations from troop landings; and religiosity. However, the influence of political power on the population growth of Itaguari cannot be forgotten, an urban nucleus raised to the status of a city as a result of the 1988 Constitution. The preservation of Itaguari's urban history and cultural heritage is confirmation of the importance of studying the minorities. Based on the data obtained, the results showed that the formation of the urban agglomeration of Itaguari interfered in the way of life of the Itaguarina population, increasing the levels of urbanization. It also ratified that religiosity greatly contributed to the founding process of the urban agglomeration, given that the emergence of Itaguari is closely related to the creation of a religious heritage, such as the location of an old cemetery. Finally, it proved that the urban space of Itaguari developed over time and is currently in a state of growth, given its socioeconomic consolidation and population growth

Por fim, demonstra como a influência do poder político interferiu no crescimento populacional da cidade, assim como, a Constituição de 1988 foi A formação urbana e as transformações sociais e espaciais ocorridas ao longo do tempo em Itaguari, Goiás, evidenciam como a urbanização da cidade foi determinada pela junção de múltiplos fatores históricos favoráveis. Dentre eles, podem ser citados a expansão da fronteira agrícola; a forte colonização do Mato Grosso Goiano; a colonização espontânea; o surgimento de aglomerados urbanos a partir de pousos de tropas; e a religiosidade. Não pode ser esquecida, todavia, a influência do poder político no crescimento populacional de Itaguari, núcleo urbano elevado à condição de cidade em decorrência da Constituição de 1988. A preservação da história urbana e do patrimônio cultural itaguarino é a confirmação da importância do estudo das minorias. Com base nos dados obtidos, os resultados comprovaram que a formação do aglomerado urbano de Itaguari interferiu no modo de vida população itaguarina, elevando os níveis de urbanização. Também ratificou que a religiosidade muito contribuiu para o processo fundacional do aglomerado urbano, dado que o surgimento de Itaguari está intimamente relacionada com a criação de um patrimônio religioso, tal como a localização de um antigo cemitério.
