This thesis was developed in the Religion and Social Movements line of the Postgraduate Program in Religious Sciences at Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás. Its central focus is the discussion of beliefs and actions related to the Sacred in religious traditions cultivated by immigrants and descendants of Japanese people living in Mineiros-Goiás. The objectives are to analyze how Eastern religiosity manifests itself and influences the social and cultural trajectory of descendants of Japanese immigrants in Mineiros (Goiás), demonstrating religiosity linked to Eastern traditions. This is done through interviews with families that maintain Japanese culture in the municipality, and through a case study carried out among descendants of immigrants from Japan who currently reside in Mineiros. The methodology used was bibliographical and documentary research, combined with interviews and conversations carried out with descendants of immigrants. It was possible to observe how the connection with the sacred dimension, that is, the phenomenon of religious experience, influences the definition of the identity of immigrants and migrants. With this, we intend to contribute to a better understanding of the dynamics and exchanges between the religious traditions of Japan and those of Brazil
