Resumo: Along the years of this new millennium, Brazil has become protagonist in the international realm for an expressive economic growth. Not coincidentally, the period marked also an expansion of Brazilian and Latin American companies beyond the national borders, comprising the multilatinas. Besides, the Brazilian culture and image was overall projected internationally, conveying some degree of pride among locals. This dissertation proposes to address some of the main organizational culture conceptualizations at the light of the institutional logics theories seeking to raise relevant cultural elements on the governmental, corporate and personal levels, complemented by identifying similarities and differences in doing business in Brazil compared to other regions in order to examine and discuss the possible existence of a typical Brazilian organizational culture, as defended by some scholars. Professional with working experience in Brazil and in Europe were interviewed, and qualitative content analysis was employed to codification and categorization of their narratives. Results pointed to the coexistence of family, market, religion and professional institutional logics gravitating across groups as well as the presence of cultural traits such as flexibility, personalism and power inequality as chief elements of the organizational culture, with emphasis on jeitinho as a predominant trait vis-à-vis its recognition as a Brazilian differential tool to face adverse situations in the working environment

Não por acaso, o período marcou também uma expansão de empresas brasileiras e latino-americanas para além de suas fronteiras nacionais, dando origem às multilatinas. Ademais, projetou-se em maior medida a cultura brasileira internacionalmente, transmitindo um certo grau de orgulho e aumento da autoestima da população. Essa tese propõe discutir alguns dos principais conceitos associados à cultura organizacional à luz da teoria institucional para examinar elementos culturais relevantes nos níveis governamental, corporativo e pessoal, apontando semelhanças e diferenças no ambiente de trabalho no Brasil em comparação a alguns países da Europa com o objetivo de identificar a possível existência de uma típica cultura organizacional brasileira, como defendido por alguns estudiosos. Foram entrevistados profissionais com vivência no Brasil e na Europa, e utilizou-se análise de conteúdo qualitativa para codificação e categorização de suas experiencias.
