Resumo: | The purpose of the present research is to analyze the poetic production by Murilo Mendes referenced in the presence of the Sacred as the basis of his poetry. It seeks to understand that interlocution between divine and human as an immanent experience, marked by a constant process of tense that tones with the poetic. The subject of this reflection are the works produced by him in the temporal cut between 1935 and 1945, defining and evocative of his lyrical discourse. This set of textbooks presents the foundations and aspects that have marked his poetic speech – enunciating changes and maturity of his creative process which culminated in Convergência. The corpus of the investigation comprises the books representative of the defined temporal cut: – Tempo e eternidade (1935); – O sinal de Deus (1936); – A poesia em pânico (1937); – O visionário (1941); – As metamorfoses (1944); – Mundo enigma (1945); – O discípulo de Emaús (1945) and Convergência (1970), for its significance in the whole Murilian lyric poetry. It is intended to apprehend the forms of how the sacred is expressed in the poetic creation of Murilo Mendes and how they are appropriated and woven in the elaboration of his discourse, as well as the effects of meaning that lodge his language. The research is based on theoretical studies of interpretation hermeneutic of the philosophers Martin Heidegger, Hans-Georg Gadamer and Benedito Nunes, having as an anchorage the work of the German poet Hölderlin and the poetry of metaphysical bias. This study of Murilo Mende's poetry is based on bibliography on the broached theme and on the interpretative analytical method |

Busca-se compreender essa interlocução entre o divino e o humano como uma experiência imanente, marcada por um processo constante de tensão que se harmoniza no poético. O objeto desta reflexão são as obras produzidas no recorte temporal compreendido entre os anos de 1935 a 1945, definidoras e evocativas de seu discurso lírico. Esse conjunto de livros apresenta os fundamentos e as vertentes que marcaram seu percurso poético – enunciadores das mudanças e do amadurecimento do seu processo criativo que culminou em Convergência. O corpus da investigação compreende os livros representativos do recorte temporal definido: – Tempo e eternidade (1935); – O sinal de Deus (1936); – A poesia em pânico (1937); – O visionário (1941); – As metamorfoses (1944); – Mundo enigma (1945); – O discípulo de Emaús (1945) e Convergência (1970), pelo seu significado no conjunto da lírica muriliana. Pretende-se apreender as formas de expressão do sagrado na criação poética de Murilo Mendes e como são apropriadas e tecidas na elaboração de seu discurso, bem como os efeitos de sentido que revestem sua linguagem. A pesquisa se fundamenta nos estudos teóricos de interpretação hermenêutica dos filósofos Martin Heidegger, Hans-Georg Gadamer e Benedito Nunes, tendo como ponto de ancoragem a obra do poeta alemão Hölderlin e a poesia de viés metafísico.
