In the past thirty years, debates around the definitions of material and immaterial where convened by several areas of knowledge. Some elements warmed up the discussions as media virtualisation, advancing new technologies and the consolidation of the neoliberal economic model which has affected the modes to deal with labour and life forms. This thesis presents aspects of these debates and focus on the nominated art productive chain, in other words, in the flows among creation, production and public sharing of artistic manifestations. Some of the main issues inquires how the communication works on artworks whose matter is not anymore defined for its physicality, what changes are generated from there in the modes pf production; and if is possible to underline the new relations of power engendered by neoliberalism. The empirical corpus brings together works of Tino Seghal, Marina Abramovic, Rafaël Rozendaal, Jorge Menna Barreto, Nut Brother, the anonymous collective Olho da Rua; as the exhibitions “Les Immatériaux” (1985) and The Immaterials Project (2008-2015). From the research-creation methodology, the thesis was drawn up in four parts that cross each other from verbal and visual narratives. Are they: condition, situation, resistance and transformation. The theoretical foundation is composed by corpomídia theory (Greiner e Katz), discussions of the new materialities (e.g: Coole e Frost, Negri e Lazzarato), the concept of minor gesture and artfulness (Manning), the notions of artistic capitalism (Lipovetsky e Serroy), and art and activism (Thompson e Sholette), among others. The main hypotesis is that artistic experiences with transformation power act largely procedurally, from minor gestures, within the semiosis body-mind-ambience
