Resumo: This research is inserted in the Portuguese language area, research field text and speech, in the oral and written modalities and has as main theme the built of the woman’s ethos in the Brazilian funk, established in its own speech, as well as the discursive power that the rhythm funk incorporates from its social construction. Based on the dissent rhetoric, which designates a polarization of ideas, we mainly based ourselves in rhetorical concepts from Aristotle. (2004; 2011;2017), Meyer (2007), Amossy (2016), Ferreira (2017) and others to analyse the lyrics from the songs Dako é bom (2004), by MC Tati Quebra-Barraco and 100% feminista (2014) by MC Carol feat. Karol Comká, in order to, this way, investigate which rhetorical resources are used in the ethos’ built of the orator in these productions. The problem, therefore, is to question how the ethos is built inside funk lyrics composed by women in a space previously dominated by male speakers. In this direction, our general objective is to reflect on the power of the word in the funk music genre and its development as a mass culture, to broaden the knowledge about the ethos that emerges from contemporary female compositions. As specific objectives, we define: I) Verify how the construction of the female ethos in funk occurs rhetorically; II) Find out if there is a transformation of the female ethos throughout these productions; III) identify the rhetorical-argumentative marks for the construction of the feminine ethos; IV) Verify the discursive power of funk as a mean of cultural manifestation. In addition, we highlight throughout the analyses the use of the rhetorical system as a hermeneutic role to grasp the aspects related to the built of the feminine ethos. We also established a rhetorical comparative analysis of those lyrics to highlight the transformation of the feminine ethos over the years. Besides that, we discussed the speaking place; to do so, we based ourselves in Ribeiro’s theory (2016), to be able to demonstrate the role of the funk woman. We arrived to the conclusion that the funk contemplates the characteristics of the constituent discourse. Furthermore, the feminine ethos undergoes a transformation in the discursive process and women start to build their ethos in an independente way, yearning for social changes

We arrived to the conclusion that the funk contemplates the characteristics of the constituent discourse. Furthermore, the feminine ethos undergoes a transformation in the discursive process and women start to build their ethos in an independente way, yearning for social changesEsta pesquisa está situada na área de Língua Portuguesa, linha de pesquisa Texto e Discurso nas Modalidades Oral e Escrita e tematiza a construção da imagem da mulher no gênero musical funk brasileiro composto e cantado por mulheres, bem como a potência retórica do funk que ecoa da sua construção social. Assim, a partir da retórica do dissenso, que designa uma polarização de ideias, amparamo-nos, sobretudo, em conceitos retóricos advindos de Aristóteles (2004; 2011;2017), Meyer (2007), Amossy (2016) e Ferreira (2017), para analisar as letras das canções Dako é bom de MC Tati Quebra-barraco (2004) e 100% feminista, de MC Carol e Karol Conká (2014), visando a investigar quais recursos retóricos são utilizados na constituição do ethos do orador nessas produções. O problema consiste, portanto, em interrogar como é constituído o ethos em letras de funk compostas por mulheres, num espaço antes dominado por oradores masculinos. Nessa direção, nosso objetivo geral é refletir sobre o poder da palavra no gênero musical funk e o seu desenvolvimento como cultura de massa, para ampliar o conhecimento sobre o ethos que emerge de composições femininas na contemporaneidade. Como objetivos específicos, definimos: I) Verificar como ocorre, retoricamente, a construção do ethos feminino no funk; II) Apurar se há uma transformação do ethos feminino ao longo dessas produções; III) Identificar as marcas retórico-argumentativas para a construção do ethos feminino; IV) Verificar o poder discursivo do funk como veículo de manifestação cultural. Ademais, ressaltamos a função hermenêutica do sistema retórico para captarmos os aspectos relativos à construção do ethos feminino e estabelecer também uma análise retórica comparativa das letras das canções para abordar a transformação do ethos feminino ao longo do tempo. Além disso, discutimos o lugar de fala e, com esse fim, fundamentamo-nos em Ribeiro (2016) para demonstrar o papel social da mulher funkeira. Concluímos que o discurso do gênero musical funk contempla as características do discurso instituinte e reflete o anseio das mulheres por uma mudança social. Assim, conclui-se que o ethos feminino sofre uma transformação nos processos discursivos, e as mulheres passam a construí-lo de maneira independenteCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/51845/Carla%20Moreira%20de%20Paula%20Prada.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Língua PortuguesaPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Filosofia, Comunicação, Letras e ArtesMúsica e retóricaMulheres na músicaFunk (Música)Music and rhetoricWomen in musicFunk (Music)CNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::LETRAS::LINGUA PORTUGUESAMulheres e funk: valores, crenças e ethosinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTCarla Moreira de Paula Prada.pdf.txtCarla Moreira de Paula Prada.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain339812https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/23043/4/Carla%20Moreira%20de%20Paula%20Prada.pdf.txt017dca73dd9b821652312d93211b371bMD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
