Resumo: The ASD tracking instruments have different strategies to collect information about child development, using verbal reports or homemade videos. However, observing the child's behavior in structured tasks is the most reliable strategy to reach this data. The cohort design is the most recommended one to investigate the ASD risk, and, in order to apply it, it is necessary to follow two groups over time: one is exposed to the risk of the disorder; and the other is not exposed to it. This study aimed to analyze the protocol developed by Gioia and Guilhardi (2018) in order to verify whether its tasks produce the target behaviors in children out of risk for ASD. Eight participants aged between 12 and 24 months were included, from public daycare centers and private schools in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. A prospective longitudinal design was used. The tasks with the highest percentage in producing the target behaviors were: 9, 10 and 12, with a 100% rate; 2, 4 and 5, with 92.31%; and 3 and 1, with 84.62% and 76.92%, respectively. The tasks that obtained the lowest percentage in producing the target behaviors were: 8, with 61.54%; 11, with 33.33%; 6, with 15.38%; 7, with 7.69%; and 13, which did not produce the target behavior at all. The most frequently observed accompanying behavior was the eye contact, while smiling/laughing, and babbling appeared less frequently. The main limitations of this study were a short follow-up/application of the protocol as well as a reduced number of participants

The main limitations of this study were a short follow-up/application of the protocol as well as a reduced number of participantsOs instrumentos de rastreamento de TEA possuem diferentes formas de coletar informações sobre o desenvolvimento infantil, utilizando relato verbal ou vídeos caseiros. Observar, porém, o comportamento da criança em tarefas estruturadas é a forma mais confiável de obter esses dados. A fim de se investigar o risco de TEA, o delineamento de coorte é o mais recomendado, e, para isso, é necessário acompanhar ao longo do tempo dois grupos, no qual um está exposto ao risco do transtorno; e o outro, não. O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar o protocolo de desenvolvido por Gioia e Guilhardi (2018) para verificar se suas tarefas produzem os comportamentos-alvo em crianças fora de risco de TEA. O estudo contou com oito participantes entre 12 meses e 24 meses de idade, de creches públicas e de escola particular da cidade de São Paulo (SP). O delineamento utilizado foi longitudinal prospectivo. As tarefas com maior porcentagem em produzir os comportamentos-alvo foram: 9, 10 e 12, com 100% de taxa; 2, 4 e 5, com 92,31%; e 3 e 1, com 84,62% e 76,92%, respectivamente. As tarefas que obtiveram menor porcentagem em produzir os comportamentos-alvo foram: 8, com 61,54%; 11, com 33,33%; 6, com 15,38%; 7, com 7,69%; e 13, que não produziu o comportamento-alvo em nenhuma oportunidade. O comportamento acompanhante observado em maior frequência foi o contato visual, enquanto sorrir/rir e balbuciar apareceram em menor frequência. As principais limitações deste estudo foram pouco tempo de acompanhamento/aplicação do protocolo e número reduzido de participantesCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/52052/Cl%c3%a1udio%20Almeida%20Sarilho.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Psicologia Experimental: Análise do ComportamentoPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências Humanas e da SaúdeAvaliação do comportamentoTranstorno do espectro autista (TEA)Tecnologia de intervençãoBehavioral assessmentAutism spectrum disorder (ASD)Intervention technologyCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIA::PSICOLOGIA EXPERIMENTALProtocolo de Avaliação Comportamental Precoce: acompanhando crianças fora de risco de TEAEarly Behavioral Assessment Instrument: accompanying children out of risk for ASDinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTCláudio Almeida Sarilho.pdf.txtCláudio Almeida Sarilho.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain153279https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/23129/4/Cl%c3%a1udio%20Almeida%20Sarilho.pdf.txt68fa1fa25f7d5475c2716082745e5443MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
