Resumo: O “bombing” that the media offers about body esthetics e ways of dressing, among others, laying patterns that are end. In fact, the denial of aging and old age. That body ideal is proposed by the media – particularly for the Aesthetic Medicine – for Aging and Old Age within the framework of the Brazilian Society current? GOAL: Against the current cult of young bodies and “healed” and denial of “outword signal of aging”, investigate, in a virtual environment, the relationship between body, aging and old age. METHODOLOGY: Considering that scope of investigation was the virtual media the methodological approach fell on qualitative procedures and, more precisely, on Content Analysis (CA). For this survey the following search engines were used: “Body”, “Aging”, “Old age” e “Aesthetic Medicine”. With these guidelines in the horizon data were collected through surveys on the Web (Internet) of what is being informed about of theme. The materials were collected in the months of October and November 2015 covering, therefore, a period of sixty days. Due to its wide use and the resources available to the research tool was used “Google”. It was selected, for each of the searches, all the materials of the first five “pages”. The registration of each title was followed by a first analysis of broadcast content on the websites. For the content analysis the words were selected and the most frequent expressions, present in discourses on search engines, reveal the meanings associated with the topic. RESULTS: For the search “body”, they were identified 53 (fifty three). For the search “aging”, they were identified 75 (seventy five) sites. Já o buscador “Old Age” it resulted 70 (seventy) sites. For the search “Aesthetic Medicine” were identified 76 (seventy six) sites. All sites were submitted to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study

Que ideal de corpo é proposto pela Mídia – particularmente pela Medicina Estética – para o Envelhecimento e a Velhice no âmbito da Sociedade Brasileira Atual? OBJETIVO: Diante do atual culto aos corpos jovens e “sarados” e da negação dos “sinais exteriores da idade” investigar, em ambiente virtual, a relação entre Corpo, Envelhecimento e Velhice. METODOLOGIA:Considerando que o lócus da investigação foi a mídia virtual a abordagem metodológica proposta recaiu sobre procedimentos qualitativos e, mais precisamente, sobre a Análise de Conteúdo (AC). Para o levantamento foram utilizados os seguintes buscadores: “Corpo”, “Envelhecimento”, “Velhice” e “Medicina Estética”. Com estas orientações no horizonte os dados foram coletados através levantamentos na Web (Internet) do que está sendo veiculado sobre o tema. As matérias foram coletadas nos meses de Outubro e Novembro de 2015 cobrindo, portanto, um período de sessenta dias. Por sua ampla utilização e pelos recursos de que dispõe na investigação foi utilizada a ferramenta “Google”. Nela foram selecionadas, para cada um dos buscadores, todas as matérias das cinco primeiras “páginas”. Ao registro de cada título seguiu-se uma primeira análise dos conteúdos veiculados nos sites.Para a Análise de Conteúdo foram selecionadas as palavras e expressões mais recorrentes que, presentes nos discursos sobre os buscadores, revelam os significados associados ao tema. RESULTADOS OBTIDOS: Para o buscador “corpo”, foram levantados 53 (cinquenta e três). Para o buscador “envelhecimento”, resultaram em 75 (setenta e cinco) sites. Já o buscador “velhice” resultou em 70 (setenta) sites.Para o buscador “medicina estética” foram 76 (setenta e seis) sites.
