Resumo: | Background: The problem of the use of licit and illicit drugs has become a collective phenomenon associated with involvement in crime, corruption and morbidity and mortality of a population. The effect of this practice has directly and indirectly affected the entire the children of drug users, adolescents in conflict with the law. These adolescents may have difficulties in decision-making. Objectives: Evaluate decision-making in the context of risk in children of drug users in relation to the group of adolescents in conflict with the law and control group; identify the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of adolescents; investigate whether the groups are different regarding risk behavior, regardless of the conditions of the decision-making scenario; investigate whether the groups adapt to risk behavior depending on the conditions of the decision-making scenario; investigate whether the groups differ in terms of sensitivity to the expected value and whether they are able to integrate the information and verify whether the groups differ in terms of gain sensitivity, loss and risk. Methods: this is a cross-sectional study comparing groups of adolescents. A total of 107 adolescents divided into three groups participated in this study, with children of drug users, conflict with the law and group of students from a high school. The research was submitted and approved by the ethics and research committee. Interviews were conducted for data collections of socio-demographic, cognitive, clinical and decision-making data. The data were analyzed from the database organized by the statistical program SPSS.20. Results: Observed differences between the group regarding age (F [2] =5.77, p=.004), years of studies (F [2] =46.03, p<.001). Cognitive aspects, IQ (F[2]=24.60, and p<,001), Total MS (F[2]=10.62), (p<.001) for marijuana use (x2=31.65, p<.001) and criterion A (F[2]=8.79) and (p<.001) . Difference to IQ (F [1]=7.39) and (p=.007) risk behavior. Use of information there was no difference in groups (F [2] =1.70, p=.188), loss (F [2] =50.50 and p=.606). Risk (F [2] =4.09, p=.019). Expected value observes difference (F [2] =3.96, p=.021). In the association of variables criterion A (F [1] =7.37 and p=.007). Association ofIQ+ A+ age the (F [2] =4.01 and p=.021). In the expected value (F [2] =4.09 and p=.019) and for criterion A (F [1] = 4.06 and p=.046). Conclusion: Decision-making is a complex issue and requires special look at adolescentsparticipants in this study, access to treatment spaces with emphasis on cognitive aspects related to risk behaviors. Cep approval number: Opinion:2,768,183. |

Risco (F [2] =4,09, p=.019). Valor esperado observa diferen?a (F [2] =3,96, p=.021). Na associa??o de vari?veis crit?rio A (F [1] =7,37 e p=.007). Associa??o do QI+ A+ idade o (F [2] =4,01 e p=.021).
