Resumo: | Brazil, that already was the largest producer of natural rubber in the world, faces a deficit in its production, what has resulted in the necessity to research of clonal varieties of rubber trees with high quality and productivity adapted to different areas. In view of this scenario, this study sought to evaluate the chemical composition and as properties from natural rubber of the new clones the effect of the coagulation method on the latex clones RRIM 600 and RRIMM 937 and the influence of the non-rubber constituents soluble in acetone in properties of plasticity Wallace (P0) and plasticity retention index (PRI). The samples were evaluated by physical-chemical, thermal and rheological tests of: DRC, TSC, particle size distribution and Zeta potential, FTIR, NMR, determination of macro and micronutrients by ICP-OES, acetone extract content, ash, nitrogen content, Wallace plasticity, plasticity retention index, Mooney viscosity, thermogravimetry, DSC and rheological behavior. From the obtained results a variance analysis with repeated measures and tests of multiple comparisons was made to evaluate the behavior of the clones in relation to the plots and the collections. Pearson's correlation was used to evaluate the correlations of the variables. The results showed that there were more variations between the clones and the collections in the composition than in the properties. The rubber produced by the new clones presented good performance considering the standards established by the norms, except the clone RRIM 711 that presented the greatest variations in properties and lower values than the others. All clones showed uniformity in the thermal evaluation, and in the inert atmosphere the decomposition occurred in a single stage with a temperature of beginning of degradation varying between 275–280 °C and in oxidative atmosphere occurred in three stages with the temperature of beginning of degradation varying between 210–220 °C. The NMR and FTIR spectra have shown that the natural rubber structure for all the clones studied has mostly the cis-1,4-polyisoprene form. The coagulation method altered the properties of the natural rubber and the extraction of the non-rubber constituents soluble in acetone directly affected the PRI values. |

Diante deste cenário, este trabalho buscou avaliar a composição química e as propriedades da borracha natural dos novos clones, o efeito do método de coagulação no látex dos clones RRIM 600 e RRIM 937 e a influência dos constituintes não-borracha solúveis em acetona nas propriedades de plasticidade Wallace (P0) e índice de retenção de plasticidade (PRI). As amostras foram avaliadas através dos ensaios físico-químicos, térmicos e reológicos de: DRC, TSC, distribuição do tamanho de partículas e potencial Zeta, FTIR, RMN, determinação de macro e micronutrientes por ICP-OES, teor de extrato acetônico, teor de cinzas, teor de nitrogênio, plasticidade Wallace, índice de retenção de plasticidade, viscosidade Mooney, termogravimetria, DSC e comportamento reológico. A partir dos resultados obtidos foi feita uma análise de variância com medidas repetidas e testes de comparações múltiplas para avaliar o comportamento dos clones em relação às parcelas e às coletas. Para avaliar as correlações das variáveis foi utilizada a correlação de Pearson. Os resultados mostraram que houve mais variações entre os clones e as coletas na composição do que nas propriedades. A borracha produzida pelos novos clones apresentou bom desempenho considerando os padrões estabelecidos pelas normas, exceto o clone RRIM 711 que apresentou as maiores variações nas propriedades e valores inferiores aos demais. Todos os clones mostraram uniformidade na avaliação térmica, sendo que em atmosfera inerte a decomposição ocorreu em única etapa com temperatura de início de degradação variando entre 275–280 °C e em atmosfera oxidativa ocorreu em três etapas com a temperatura de início de degradação variando entre 210–220 °C. Os espectros de RMN e FTIR mostraram que a estrutura da borracha natural para todos os clones estudados possui majoritariamente a forma cis-1,4-poli-isopreno. O método de coagulação alterou as propriedades da borracha natural e a extração dos constituintes não-borracha solúveis em acetona afetou diretamente os valores de PRI.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES)Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP)FAPESP: 2015/17081-9porUniversidade Federal de São CarlosCâmpus São CarlosPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Química - PPGQUFSCarBorracha naturalNovos clonesPropriedadesComposição químicaCIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::QUIMICAEstudo da influência da composição química nas propriedades da borracha natural dos novos clones de seringueira RRIM 711, RRIM 926 e RRIM 937Study of the influence of chemical composition on the properties of the natural rubber from the new rubber tree’s clones RRIM 711, RRIM 926 and RRIM 937info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisOnlineinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFSCARinstname:Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR)instacron:UFSCARLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
