Resumo: The anarchist movement, contemporary to the Enlightenment, has the press like one of its main dissemination tools, advertising and expression. This type of literature that integrates the reference of educational research without, however, represent the main source. Educational Enlightenment, in turn, is traditionally studied from the written of authors who did not represent the workers expropriated by capital. That said, relying on documentary analysis methodology, the research presented here aims to: demonstrate the proximity of the two strands of thought (anarchist and Enlightenment); and verify the presence of the ideals of the Enlightenment that permeate the texts of productions that circulated among workers, especially the libertarian journal A Lanterna, published in São Paulo in the early twentieth century. Such ideals are represented in this research, the categories: Society, Inequality & Freedom; Education, Religion, Science & Rationality; and Women & School Education - identified during the readings issues discussed by both strands of thought (anarchist and Enlightenment). During the following text, are exposed proximities between the ideals analyzed, after all, it was found that, saved the ideal society concept differences, the study authors looked for transform society, weaving criticism of the government of their times and electing education as an important tool of emancipation and achievement targets transformations. We were also able to identify ideals of the Enlightenment in the publications analyzed of libertarian newspaper A Lanterna. It is also expected to provide an expansion of research sources, allowing the libertarian press can also contribute to the research on the educational enlightenment.

Esse tipo de literatura já integra os referenciais da pesquisa educacional sem, no entanto, representar sua principal fonte. O iluminismo educacional, por sua vez, é tradicionalmente estudado a partir das obras de autores que não representavam os trabalhadores expropriados pelo capital. Isto posto, apoiando-se na metodologia da análise documental, a pesquisa aqui apresentada tem por objetivos: demonstrar a proximidade das duas vertentes de pensamento (anarquista e iluminista); e verificar a presença dos ideais iluministas que permeiam os textos de produções que circularam no meio operário, principalmente do periódico libertário A Lanterna, publicado em São Paulo no início do século XX. Tais ideais estão representados, neste trabalho, pelas categorias: Sociedade, Desigualdade & Liberdade; Educação, Religião, Ciência & Racionalidade; e Feminino & Educação escolar – identificadas no decorrer das leituras como assuntos discutidos por ambas as vertentes de pensamento (anarquista e iluminista). Ao longo do trabalho que se segue, estão expostas as proximidades entre os ideais analisados, afinal, verificou-se que, salvas as diferenças de conceito de sociedade ideal, os autores estudados buscavam transformar a sociedade, tecendo críticas ao governo de suas épocas e elegendo a educação como ferramenta importante de emancipação e de concretização das transformações almejadas. Também nos foi possível identificar ideais iluministas nas publicações analisadas do jornal libertário A Lanterna.
