Resumo: Several studies (Vivès, 2009; Carvalho, 2012; Almeida; Neves, 2017; Nocrato, 2022) have considered rhythm as relevant to the clinical perspective on autism and language, as from this aspect it has been possible to observe the singular form through which the autistic subject inscribes himself in the world. Denying the perspective of the autistic person as a subject without language, what the authors point out in common is the need for unique listening to understand the language of the autistic subject. Given these considerations, the research had the general objective of investigating, through a literature review, the relationship between rhythm and language in autism, proposing a dialogue between the enunciative perspective of Émile Benveniste (2005; 2006) and listening to the suggested resistance by Carvalho (2012). Our specific objectives were to investigate the concepts of rhythm and language in autism and compare different theoretical perspectives on the relationship between rhythm and language in autism, discussing similarities and differences between them. To achieve this, methodologically we carried out a literature review whose data was processed based on the PRISMA protocol. The research can be characterized as exploratory in nature and with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). In this way, we considered the publications of theses, dissertations and articles on the topic in the last fifteen years, being researched in the National Digital Library of Dissertations and Theses (BDTD), on the Periódicos CAPES portal, on the Scielo platform and in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) . We carried out searches based on the descriptors Rhythm, Language and Autism, we recorded the total number of results, excluding duplications, we read the titles and summaries of these texts, considering the use of the word rhythm, we selected the materials that make up the research corpus , we organized them into tables and carried out the literature review. This research fulfills the guiding role on the relationship between rhythm and language in autism, providing a field of debate on new perceptions regarding the language of autistic children, mainly in the area of education, which is expected to decrystallize ableist conceptions and not the play. Furthermore, it can be a support for psychopedagogical practices, also strengthening the care provided to children, young people and adults diagnosed with autism. The final findings allowed, quantitatively, to consider the scarcity of materials and qualitatively, we identified the predominance of the perspective located at the interface between linguistics and psychoanalysis, based on the Lacanian notion of instinctual circuit, in which rhythm is understood as structuring/organizing the relationship between the Me and the Other. Furthermore, in common the publications understand the autistic child within the language/language, refuting the idea of limitation/capability already crystallized in different areas. On the other hand, no research was found based on the theory of enunciation that includes rhythm, language and autism, which points to new paths of study to be followed.

Furthermore, in common the publications understand the autistic child within the language/language, refuting the idea of limitation/capability already crystallized in different areas. On the other hand, no research was found based on the theory of enunciation that includes rhythm, language and autism, which points to new paths of study to be followed. Submitted by Biblioteca Central (biblioteca@unicap.br) on 2025-04-08T21:44:21Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Ok_salete_lopes_cunha_ciomp.pdf: 927862 bytes, checksum: ae661e21a9821b4d85e76aecc74bb36e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2025-04-08T21:44:21Z (GMT).
