Resumo: | Introduction: The increasing prevalence of chronic noncommunicable diseases and the negative impact of sedentary lifestyles pose a significant challenge to global public health. The city of Coronel Fabriciano/MG, inserted in this context, seeks to address these issues through the Mexa-se “Healthy Lifestyle Habits” Program. ”. The objective was to evaluate the satisfaction of users in relation to the Mexa-se "Healthy Lifestyle Habits" Program in Coronel Fabriciano/MG and to analyze the quality of the actions and strategies implemented in the program, considering the perceptions and experiences of the participants from 2018 onwards, in order to provide subsidies for the continuous improvement of the program and contribute to the effective promotion of healthy lifestyle habits in the community. Materials and method: The present study adopted a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the level of satisfaction of users of the Program. The survey was carried out through a structured questionnaire and approved by the UCB ethics committee. The sample included 584 users, the average age of the group was 53.7 ± 11.9 years (22 to 85), men and women, in 19 centers, enrolled and frequent in the program. Results: The results reveal a predominantly positive evaluation of the participants in relation to the Mexa-se Program, especially in the aspects of professional service and credibility. With averages close to 5, satisfaction with the attention of the professionals (4.72) and the credibility of the program (4.80) indicate a high level of trust and recognition for the work developed. However, variables such as "Materials" (3.52) and "Conservation of Structures" (3.91) point to areas that need improvement, suggesting a perception that the quality and maintenance of the resources made available are not homogeneous among the different centers. The comparison between the centers of Coronel Fabriciano and Cocais also showed a significant difference in relation to satisfaction with the materials and schedules, with Coronel Fabriciano presenting higher evaluations. Conclusion: The Mexa-se program reveals a positive perception of participants regarding the services offered, with emphasis on the attention of professionals and the credibility of the program. These elements were consistently well evaluated, reflecting the competence and professionalism of the team, as well as the confidence of participants in the effectiveness of the program. However, statistical analyses indicated significant differences between the Coronel Fabriciano and Cocais centers, especially in the category of “materials” and schedules”. These results indicate that participants in Coronel Fabriciano were more satisfied with the material resources available and the schedules of the activities compared to participants in Cocais. Overall satisfaction was also slightly higher in Coronel Fabriciano, suggesting a better overall perception of the program in this location. These findings highlight the importance of a uniform approach in the provision of resources and schedule management to ensure a consistent quality experience across all centers. Identifying and addressing areas of dissatisfaction is crucial to improving the Mexa-se program, ensuring that all participants have access to high-quality service. The continuity and success of the program depends on the ability to adapt and continuously improve, with a focus on satisfaction and well-being. |

Submitted by Ihorranna Oliveira (ihorranna.oliveira@ucb.br) on 2025-05-28T17:58:08Z No. of bitstreams: 1 RenataCottaDissertacaoParcial2024.pdf: 825962 bytes, checksum: 34a36fae5d29729ee560e8b4ea22c2b5 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Sara Ribeiro (sara.ribeiro@ucb.br) on 2025-07-11T19:43:59Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 RenataCottaDissertacaoParcial2024.pdf: 825962 bytes, checksum: 34a36fae5d29729ee560e8b4ea22c2b5 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2025-07-11T19:43:59Z (GMT).
