This dissertation study has the general objective of understanding patrimonial violence in its complexity, scope and effects on the lives of women accompanied at the Special Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS) in the interior of Mato Grosso - MT. In order to achieve the defined objectives, a documental study was carried out with a qualitative and quantitative, descriptive and exploratory approach, which enabled a broad knowledge of the phenomenon studied. Documents were studied that contained data on women, aged at least 18 years, who had children or not, who had complained of domestic violence against property and forwarded to CREAS in the period from July 2019 (before the Covid-19 pandemic) to July 2021(during the pandemic). The analysis of the narratives recorded and found in the medical records was based on the theoretical perspective of Systems Thinking. The Method used was Content Analysis, from which the categories that reduced the expressions and texts found to significant themes were defined. The five categories found from the thematic analysis were: women affec-ted by patrimonial violence: who are they?; the neutralization of women's assets; mental disor-ders: beyond the pandemic context; patrimonial violence as an inheritance; and protection and overcoming network: possible paths. The context of the Covid 19 pandemic as well as the scar-city of specific studies on property violence were the limitations of this study. However, these limitations may be the target of further research in the area. This work can bring benefits to the social sectors, with the perspective of creating Public Policies and new support interventions. Professional, in the operationalization of work with women affected by domestic violence, who are monitored by CREAS at the national level, improving practice with new modalities of in-tervention and in the Academic Perspective, expanding studies on the subject that are still inci-pient. In conclusion, this research showed: the profile of the women surveyed, the intimate relationship between patrimonial violence and the patriarchal system, the mental disorder pre-sent in their lives beyond the pandemic context, the circularity of violence present in women's lives and indicated protection resources and overcoming alternatives that were used by them.
