Resumo: | Violence is a phenomenon that plagues countries, nations, and families, it is permeated in the most varied social niches and societies. Faced with this problem, the context in some schools is an imitation of the society in which it is inserted. Therefore, it is not immune to such a situation. Looking at the study of this phenomenon of violence, the research carried out is entitled: “Violence at school: between the school climate and prevention”. Violence at school carries specific characteristics that have an intimate connection with the school climate and the subjects who socialize there. The present work has as general objective to analyze the school climate and the possible solutions for the prevention and resolution of conflicts in episodes of violence in the school environment. Therefore, a study with a theoretical focus was developed, relating it to aspects related to violence in general, highlighting the analysis and conceptualization of the school climate, understanding the macro concept of violence in general and in schools, in addition to of the study of policies to combat violence. The research takes a mixed approach methodology, both quantitative and qualitative, carried out through documental analysis of the archives of a school in the state of Goiás, specifically in the Lago Azul neighborhood, with the application of semi-structured questionnaires to students, teachers and administrators. The questionnaires are related to episodes of violence within the school, as well as mitigating proposals to minimize these violent aspects. With the completion of the survey, data were obtained that show that physical and verbal aggression, along with discrimination, are the most common types of violence detected at school. The reasons that make this violence emerge is associated with difficulties in personal relationships and an aversion to differences, characteristics of the social vulnerability to which students are subjected. This extra-wall violence ends up bringing traces of this ailment from the community into the school, influencing the behavior and actions of students. In terms of the school climate, factors that could influence it were detected, it became evident that the school does not have a favorable physical structure, adequate teacher training and lacks the participation of the State. Given the context observed, some proposals were suggested to improve the school climate, firstly a macro project with an emphasis on non-violent communication, followed by the creation of internal proposals, formulated in line with the student body, teachers, employees and the community. In this sense, the following stand out: An interdisciplinary project on violence in the city, the most recurrent types of violence in the region, how to deal with violence, violence in the family context, among others, can be themes to be developed and discussed in a way that everyone gives their contribution, participating in the creation and execution. |

Diante de tal mazela o contexto em algumas escolas é imitação da sociedade na qual ela está inserida. Sendo assim, não fica imune a tal situação. Vislumbrando o estudo desse fenômeno de violência, a pesquisa realizada é intitulada: “Violência na escola: entre o clima escolar e a prevenção”. A violência na escola carrega características específicas que têm uma íntima ligação com o clima escolar e os sujeitos que ali se socializam. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo geral, analisar o clima escolar e as possíveis soluções para a prevenção e resolução de conflitos em episódios de violência no ambiente escolar. Para tanto, desenvolveu-se um estudo com enfoque teórico relacionando-o com os aspectos ligados à violência de uma forma geral, destacando-se a análise e conceituação do clima escolar, entendimento do conceito macro de violência de forma geral e nas escolas, além do estudo de políticas de enfrentamento da violência. A pesquisa assume uma metodologia de abordagem mista, tanto quantitativa quanto qualitativa, realizada por meio da análise documental dos arquivos de uma escola no estado de Goiás, especificamente no bairro Lago Azul, com a aplicação de questionários semiestruturados a alunos, professores e gestor. Os questionários estão relacionados aos episódios de violência dentro da escola, bem como as propostas mitigadoras para minimizar esses aspectos violentos. Com a realização da pesquisa foram obtidos dados que mostram que as agressões físicas e verbais, juntamente com discriminações, são os tipos mais comuns de violências detectadas na escola. Os motivos que fazem essa violência aflorar está associada a dificuldade nas relações pessoais e a aversão às diferenças, características da vulnerabilidade social a qual são submetidos os alunos. Essa violência extra muro, acaba trazendo traços dessa mazela da comunidade, para dentro da escola, incidindo no comportamento e ações dos alunos. No aspecto do clima escolar, foram detectados fatores que podem influenciá-lo, ficou evidente que a escola não possui uma estrutura física propícia, formação de professores adequada e carece de participação do Estado. Diante do contexto observado, foram sugeridas algumas propostas visando a melhora do clima escolar, primeiramente um projeto macro com ênfase na comunicação não violenta, seguido pela criação de propostas internas, formuladas em consonância com o corpo discente, docentes, colaboradores e comunidade.
