Resumo: This research is oriented towards analyzing the sexuality and psychopathology present in the discourse of the “gay cure”, its effects on bodies and on social relations typical of today. The method will take place through the analysis of social situations exposed in YouTube videos, from 2011 to 2019, problematizing the testimonies enunciated by the "gay cure", in the series of videos selected and grouped according to the following themes: legal, religious, medical field. -psychological and statements of the president of the republic. The analysis will also rely on the Foucaultian research methodology, called archegenealogy. In order to understand how the construction of this discourse causes the categorization and social exclusion of bodies in the expression of their sexualities, through the description of social and historical facts that support the emergence of homosexuality as a pathology and its displacement to normality in the scientific and legal field in contrast to the pathologizing discourse of the “gay cure”.

O método acontecerá através da análise de situações sociais expostas em vídeos do YouTube, no período de 2011 até 2019, problematizando os depoimentos enunciados pela “cura gay”, nas séries de vídeos selecionados e agrupados segundo as seguintes temática: campo jurídico, religioso, médico-psicológico e enunciados do presidente da república. A analítica também contará com a metodologia de pesquisa Foucaultiana, denominada, arquegenealogia.
