The present study was developed within a proposal of analysis of the environmental factors, in which the human activities, together with the economic, social and technological forces exerts direct influence man-nature. The object of this was the Macaúba A. aculeata (Jacq.) Lood. ex. Mart.). A fraction of Cerrado was delimited in the watershed of the Marimbondo stream, in the municipality of Pontalina - GO. Demarcated three areas, being the area I of dry forest; the area II of felling and the area III, of pasture, with the purpose of analyzing and knowing the environment of natural occurrence of the species and the diversity of soils in which it can be present, in the Cerrado biome. The environmental characterization of the microregion and the survey of the native fruit species were done, listing the main soil texture and chemical characteristics, according to the data collected and their analysis it was possible to verify a non-accentuated variation in soil textures, with predominance of sandy; and in the chemical elements there was calcium (Ca) discrepancy in area III (18.5% in point 5 in relation to the others.The organic matter content was maintained with high average in area I, dry forest (3.4%). There is presence of macaúba in the three areas surveyed, with emphasis on area III - pasture, with great variety of young and leafy macaúbas.
