This research had as the main objective to realize a lifting of the tourist potential from eight surrounding municipalities with the floodplain of the Ivaí river, located in Paranaense northwest region, they are: Douradina, Icaraíma, Ivaté, Querência do Norte, Santa Cruz de Monte Castelo, Santa Isabel do Ivaí, Santa Mônica and Tapira. In the present study, it was used the field research with interviews to search the organization of the State as an agent in the process of regional and municipal tourist organization, Besides identifying the tourist exploitations forms already practiced. It was realized the quantitative and qualitative lifting of the main components of the tourist offer favorable to the practice and the development of the tourism. It was also used the geoenvironmental mapping as an interpretation form from the natural attractive. The evaluation of the data showed an area with few influence of the State in the tourism factor, noting that only two towns owned official municipal office for tourism. In a regional level four towns owned partnerships along with the Regional Tourism Net, public organization that reports to the Governance Instance of the Tourism in the Northwest of Paraná. Until 2012, none of the municipalities realized the Inventory of the Tourist Offer, and it was identified the amateur fishing in Ivaí river and several popular events in other municipalities. In relation to the tourist offer, it was found disabilities in most of the sectors, not accomplishing the purposes for the tourist usage limited to attend the minimum expectations of the visitors. In relation to the tourist attractive, the events occur in a local and regional coverage, where the organization is realized by the local community. In relation to the natural attractive, the geoenvironmental mapping helped in the subdivision of the territory and it was identified five favorable zones to several tourism practices, such as the favorable hydrography to the nautical ridings, vegetation areas with forest formation favorable for several tourism segments related to the natural patrimony.
