Resumo: : This dissertation analizes the relation between aging and crossdressing, concerning the memory and projection of the old age image of 04 (four) young crossdressers. The objective is to understand the expectation these young people have created for this period of life, countering their projections of the legal framework which defines those who are considered old according to the current laws in Brazil. The Brazilian Elderly Statute defines as old those who are 60 (sixty) years old onwards; nevertheless, the crossdressers' statements reveal this boundary is not based on a chronological age, but before it. The paper showed that crossdressers subvert their gender and body, as well as their aging demarcation. Investigating how the younger ones perceive and accomplish body modifications was one of the main issues of this research. The interview collection was made using the oral history method. The statements were related to the gender studies of Judith Butler (2003) and Marcos R. Benedetti (l997), likewise Miriam Goldenberg's generational studies (2011) and Le Breton's body studies (2012). All things considered, it was possible to understand how crossdressers age and how they project their lives to the spaces they are inserted in.

O objetivo é compreender a expectativa que essas jovens criaram para esse período da vida, contrapondo suas projeções aos marcos legais que definem quem é idoso no Brasil contemporâneo. O Estatuto do Idoso define como idosa a pessoa que tem 60 (sessenta) ou mais anos, no entanto, os depoimentos das travestis revelam que a fronteira não está pautada nessa idade cronológica, mas antes. O trabalho de pesquisa mostrou que se as travestis subvertem o gênero e o corpo, também subvertem as demarcações etárias. Uma questão central da pesquisa foi investigar como as mais jovens percebem e efetuam os processos de modificações corporais. A coleta das entrevistas se deu por meio do método de historia oral. Os depoimentos foram relacionados com aos estudos de gênero feitos por Judith Butler (2003) e Marcos R. Benedetti (1997), bem como com os estudos geracionais de Miriam Goldenberg (2011) e de corpo de Le Breton (2012).
