Studying the regional dynamics that arise from the insertion of a new commercial segment, the Atacarejo, makes us reflect on the spatial production that results from this new insertion in space, and this, which implies in establishing a cut-off for analysis of the fixed and flows , which are often seen transforming local processes linked to the urban economy and culture. Our proposal is based on this theme, about the relationship of this commercial segment and the flows they developed / developed with the city of Campina and with other surrounding cities. The main objective of this proposal is to investigate the relations of the Atacarejo segment with the regional dynamics of development in the urban space of Campina Grande-PB. From this, our study had as a methodology, the documentary analysis of the organic laws of the city searching for norms about the commerce of the city and its surroundings, besides a survey of the literature on the subject, using sources from areas of knowledge such as sociology, the geography, the administration and the economy. Field research had also been carried out in the garages, with interviews and questionnaires being carried out with the different publics that attend and work in these places, as well as the collection of information on the management of trade. Ratifying the search for information, data and information were also collected on the websites of the Atacarejo Maxxi, Assaí, Makro and Atacadão brands, which were installed in the city.
