The present work emphatically underscores the urgency and relevance of developing and implementing a Construction and Demolition Waste Management Plan (CDWM) for the city of Campina Grande. The centrality of this plan lies in the pressing need to preserve the environment, mitigate negative impacts associated with improper waste disposal, and simultaneously promote sustainability in urban management. The theoretical foundation presented in the study meticulously outlines the context of the construction industry in Brazil and globally, providing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced in this particular sector. The methodology adopted in the research stands out for its comprehensiveness, incorporating tools such as georeferencing and questionnaires to collect precise and relevant data. These methods not only ensure a robust analysis of the current situation in Campina Grande but also provide a solid foundation for formulating effective waste management strategies. The analysis of the current waste management situation in the city reveals substantial challenges, particularly in areas of irregular disposal that have adverse effects on public health and the environment. This finding reinforces the study's thesis regarding the need for more assertive public policies, comprehensive educational programs, and strategic partnerships to implement efficient solutions. One innovative contribution of the work is the practical suggestion of the feasibility of using recycled aggregates in construction. This approach not only points to a sustainable alternative but also highlights the intrinsic benefits of reducing environmental impact, incorporating a holistic and circular vision into waste management. It is concluded that the successful implementation of the CDWM requires a collaborative approach among the government, businesses, and the local community. This synergy is crucial to overcoming the identified challenges and establishing a new standard of effective and sustainable management of construction and demolition waste in Campina Grande.
