Resumo: Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is one of the most important fiber producing crops. Brazil stands out on the world stage as one of the main producers and exporters of cotton fiber. The planting of this crop in the brazilian semiarid region is important for the regional development and increase of the competition capacity of the Northeast cotton farmer. Thus, the development of breeding programs that identify cultivars adapted to the conditions of the region is fundamental. In conducting these programs, the study of genotypes x environments interaction before selection and recommendation of cultivars help in choosing and indicating the best materials. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the genotypes x environments interaction of final lines of upland cotton, in order to identify adapted and stable genotypes for the northeastern semiarid conditions. Seventeen genotypes were evaluated in experiments conducted in the cities of Apodi-RN and Barbalha-CE in 2016 and 2017, totaling four environments. The characteristics evaluated were: cotton seed yield, cotton fiber yield, lint percentage, fiber length, fiber strength, micronaire and spinning index. Individual and joint analyzes of variance were performed. The adaptability and stability analyzes was evaluated following the methodologies proposed by Eberhart and Russell (1966), Lin and Binns (1988) modified by Carneiro (1998), Annicchiarico (1992) and GGE Biplot (2000). The different methodologies adopted in this study were concordant and complementary, being efficient and easily applied in the identification of adapted and stable cotton genotypes. The results indicated the genotypes CNPA NE 2012-2050, CNPA MT 2009-152, CNPA NE 2012- 2008 and CNPA BA 2011-4970 FL as the most productive, and more adaptability for the evaluated region. CNPA BA 2011-4436, CNPA BA 2011-1197 and CNPA BA 2010-1174 also presented productive potential and were considered the most stable.

O Brasil se destaca no cenário mundial como um dos principais produtores e exportadores da fibra de algodão. O plantio desta cultura no semiárido brasileiro é importante para o desenvolvimento regional e incremento da capacidade de competição do cotonicultor nordestino. Assim, o desenvolvimento de programas de melhoramento que identifiquem cultivares adaptadas às condições da região é fundamental. Na condução desses programas, o estudo da interação genótipos x ambientes antes da seleção e recomendação de cultivares auxiliam na escolha e indicação dos melhores materiais. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a interação genótipos x ambientes de linhagens finais de algodoeiro herbáceo visando identificar genótipos adaptados e estáveis para as condições do semiárido nordestino. Foram avaliados dezessete genótipos em experimentos conduzidos nas cidades de Apodi-RN e Barbalha-CE nos anos de 2016 e 2017, totalizando quatro ambientes. As características avaliadas foram: produtividade de algodão em caroço, produtividade de fibra, porcentagem de fibra, comprimento, resistência, micronaire e fiabilidade. Realizou-se análises de variância individual, conjunta e análises de adaptabilidade e estabilidade seguindo as metodologias propostas por Eberhart e Russell (1966), Lin e Binns (1988) modificada por Carneiro (1998), Annicchiarico (1992) e GGE Biplot (2000). As diferentes metodologias adotadas neste estudo foram concordantes e complementares, sendo eficientes e de fácil aplicação na identificação de genótipos de algodoeiro adaptados e estáveis. CNPA BA 2011-4436, CNPA BA 2011-1197 e CNPA BA 2010-1174 também apresentaram potencial produtivo e foram considerados os mais estáveis.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Agrárias - PPGCAUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPValue of cultivation and useCIENCIAS AGRARIASGossypium hirsutumValor de cultivo e usoMelhoramento genéticoAlgodoeiro herbáceoAdaptabilidade e estabilidade fenotípica de linhagens de algodoeiro herbáceo para as condições do semiárido nordestinoAccuracy of a questionnaire on xerostomia as a tool for screening hyposalivationinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisCavalcanti, José Jaime Vasconceloshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2019939703180110Santos, Roseane Cavalcanti doshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6140411868197365Gomes, Regina Lucia Ferreirahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6938362260541348Farias, Francisco José Correiahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2791182646995434http://lattes.cnpq.br/6642264865863923Silva, Ruan dos Santosinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
