Resumo: Like Mathematics, Geometry can be perceived in our daily lives, even mostly, we do not realize that. Because of this lack of attention, we are not aware of its importance and beauty. Caatinga is not either very popular or valued in so many ways, despite being extremely important to Nordeste, the northeast of Brazil. Therefore, the research that integrates these two topics brings a new meaning to both of them, besides it promotes interdisciplinarity in the school environment. Facing this matter, this research aims was to investigate possibilities of contributions of the photographic image of the Caatinga Biome to contribute to the teaching of Geometry, under the guiding question: how can the Caatinga Vegetation be explored in Geometry teaching? The research has qualitative matter and brings as support for data analysis the Visual Culture. The research embraced the 7th grade students from Escola Maria Salomé de Almeida, located in the City of Livramento, State of Paraíba. The results of the research pointed that it is possible to visualize in Caatinga Biome Vegetation spatial and plane geometric shapes, like symmetries, still it shows that it is possible to study geometry by observing photographic images of the vegetation of this biome, via Remote Learning. The analysis of the data also pointed that mathematics textbooks do not usually explore Caatinga Biome photographic images in the study of Geometry, which expresses the needing of being addressed by the them, since it allows not only Northeastern Students to feel closer to their reality, but also the others to realize the richness and beauty of this Biome. Photographic Image.Assim como a Matemática, a Geometria pode ser percebida em nosso cotidiano, embora na maioria das vezes não nos demos conta disto. Por essa falta de atenção, nos privamos de perceber sua importância e beleza. A Caatinga também é pouco conhecida e valorizada em todos os sentidos, apesar de ser extremamente importante para o Nordeste do Brasil. Dessa forma, pesquisas que integrem esses dois temas trazem um novo sentido para ambas, além de promover a interdisciplinaridade no ambiente escolar. Diante dessa necessidade, o objetivo dessa pesquisa foi investigar possibilidades de contribuições da imagem fotográficas do Bioma Caatinga para contribuir com o ensino de Geometria, tendo como pergunta norteadora: como a vegetação da Caatinga pode ser explorada no ensino de Geometria? A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativa e traz como suporte para a análise de dados a Cultura Visual. A pesquisa foi realizada com alunos do Sétimo Ano do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Maria Salomé de Almeida, localizada no município de Livramento, estado da Paraíba. Os resultados da pesquisa apontaram que é possível visualizar na vegetação do Bioma Caatinga formas geométricas espaciais e planas, bem como, simetrias, além de evidenciar que é possível estudar Geometria observando imagens fotográficas da vegetação deste bioma, por meio do Ensino Remoto.
