Resumo: INTRODUCTION: the new Coronavirus pandemic has become a global challenge for health systems. In Brazil, primary care (PHC) was much sought after given the mild symptoms of most cases. Professionals at this level were overwhelmed by the high demand and fear inherent in the scenario and this can be the etiology for changes in lifestyle, nutritional status and other aspects, such as the sleep pattern, which can culminate in acute and chronic illness and reinforce the need care strategies for this population as well. OBJECTIVE: to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lifestyle, nutritional status and sleep pattern of nurses and physicians who work in PHC establishments in Campina Grande – PB. MATERIALS AND METHODS: cross-sectional study involving 140 health professionals who had been working in the PHC for at least six months. Data were collected in person through a digital form via the Survio® platform containing 84 questions. Information on nutritional status, lifestyle and sleep and rest patterns were obtained before and during the pandemic, using the chi-square test to compare sociodemographic and lifestyle data and between the group of doctors and nurses and the test. McNemar to compare information between periods before and during the pandemic. Statistical analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences – SPSS, version 22.0, with a significance level of 5%. RESULTS: there was a higher prevalence of females and non-effective bonding with care. Half of the population was overweight/obese and the majority reported work overload during the pandemic period, but with no increase in income. There was a decrease in the practice of physical activity and an increase in the consumption of ultra-processed foods, in addition to a decrease in the duration and quality of sleep, as well as greater stress, tiredness and moodiness during the pandemic. CONCLUSION: it appears that health professionals are a group highly affected by the pandemic and this circumstance reinforces the need for actions aimed at their health, as well as the adherence to individual care measures, such as the organization of the work process and the ensuring minimally adequate conditions for carrying out activities and taking care of the lifestyle, which are essential to provide quality care and ensure the health and well-being of this population.

No Brasil, a atenção básica (AB) foi muito procurara dada a sintomatologia leve da maioria dos casos. Os profissionais deste nível foram sobrecarregados pela elevada demanda e medo inerente ao cenário e isto pode ser etiologia para mudanças no estilo de vida, estado nutricional e outros aspectos, como o padrão de sono, que podem culminar em adoecimento agudo e crônico e reforça a necessidade de estratégias de cuidado também à esta população. OBJETIVO: avaliar o impacto da pandemia da COVID-19 sobre o estilo de vida, estado nutricional e padrão de sono dos enfermeiros e médicos que atuam nas unidades de saúde da família (USF) de Campina Grande – PB. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS: estudo transversal envolvendo 140 profissionais de saúde que atuassem na AB há pelo menos seis meses. Os dados foram coletados presencialmente nas USF através de formulário digital via plataforma Survio® contendo 84 perguntas. Foram obtidas informações sobre o estado nutricional, estilo de vida e padrão do sono e repouso antes e durante a pandemia, realizado teste qui-quadrado para comparação dos dados sociodemográficos e de estilo de vida e entre o grupo de médicos e enfermeiros e o teste de McNemar para comparar as informações entre os períodos antes e durante a pandemia. A análise estatística foi realizada através do software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences – SPSS, versão 22.0, com nível de significância de 5%. RESULTADOS: observou-se maior prevalência do sexo feminino e de vínculo não-efetivo com a assistência. Metade da população tinha sobrepeso/obesidade e a maioria relatou sobrecarga de trabalho no período da pandemia, mas sem aumento de renda. Houve diminuição da prática de atividade física e aumento no consumo de alimentos ultraprocessados, além de diminuição na duração e na qualidade do sono, bem como maior estresse, sensação de cansaço e mal-humor durante a pandemia. CONCLUSÃO: verifica-se que os profissionais de saúde constituem um grupo altamente afetado pela pandemia e essa circunstância reforça a necessidade de ações destinadas à saúde dos mesmos, bem como a adesão de medidas de cuidado individual, como a organização do processo de trabalho e a garantia de condições minimamente adequadas para a execução das atividades e os cuidados com o estilo de vida, que são essenciais para viabilizar a assistência de qualidade e garantir saúde e bem-estar desta população.application/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Saúde Pública - PPGSPUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPCoronavirus infectionPrimary health careLifestyleHealth professionalsSAUDE COLETIVAInfecção por coronavírusAtenção primária à saúdeEstilo de vidaProfissionais de saúdeImpacto da pandemia do SARS-COV-2 sobre o estilo de vida, estado nutricional e padrão de sono dos profissionais da atenção básica de Campina Grande - PBinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisCarvalho, Danielle Franklin dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8539437540131131Palmeira, Poliana de Araújohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8298424599274496Medeiros, Carla Campos Munizhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6730680514230870http://lattes.cnpq.br/4090524326648056Sales, Lucenildo Laerty da Silvainfo:eu-repo/semantics/embargoedAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
