Resumo: Introduction: Historically, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite and transgender populations have been positioned in a place of restriction of rights. Emphasizing the health field, studies that investigate the care practices directed to these individuals, point out that the accessibility of these groups to health is permeated by a series of inequities. Objective: Understand the health care of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite and transgender people in Paraiba. Methodological approach: Exploratory and descriptive study of qualitative approach, developed in the reference services of the State of Paraíba. For the collection of information, a documentary survey of the Health Plans, Annual Health Schedule and Annual Management Report, from 2013 to 2018, was conducted, as well as semi-structured interviews with professionals and users of the services. The formation of the study group was determined by purposeful sampling and the number of collaborators was based on the Theoretical Saturation Method. Thus, 12 professionals and 30 users were interviewed. The empirical material resulting from the documentary and speech analysis was analyzed jointly, considering the principles concerning data triangulation in order to identify convergent, divergent or complementary points. Results: The data set, submitted to content analysis, originated the following relevance categories: Health services and actions; Educational practices; Mobilization, articulation, participation and social control activities; and Monitoring and evaluation of health actions. Conclusions: There are advances in trying to meet the health demands of the LGBT segment, verified from the inclusion of targets related to this public in the analyzed documents. In practical terms, however, it is observed that such advances are restricted to specialized services for transvestites and transsexuals and that identified health actions favor clinical practices. Likewise, the lack of permanent education and health education practices, visualized in this study, tend to corroborate the institutional prejudice and sexual orientation / gender identity in SUS services. Changes in this context go through the reorganization of health care models, in order to deepen the discussion about issues considered fundamental for the health promotion of these subjects.

Enfatizando-se o campo da saúde, estudos que investigam as práticas assistenciais direcionadas a estes indivíduos, apontam que a acessibilidade desses grupos à saúde é perpassada por uma série de iniquidades. Objetivo: Compreender a assistência à saúde de lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, travestis e transexuais nos serviços de referência da Paraíba. Caminho metodológico: Estudo exploratório e descritivo de abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvido nos serviços de referência do Estado da Paraíba. Para a coleta de informações, realizou-se levantamento documental dos Planos de Saúde, Programação Anual de Saúde e Relatório Anual de Gestão, referente aos anos de 2013 a 2018, além de entrevistas semiestruturadas com profissionais e usuários dos serviços. A formação do grupo de estudo foi determinada pela amostragem proposital e o quantitativo de colaboradores baseou-se no Método de Saturação Teórica. Destarte, 12 profissionais e 30 usuários foram entrevistados. O material empírico resultante da análise documental e das falas foi analisado considerando-se os princípios concernentes à triangulação de fontes com o objetivo de identificar pontos convergentes, divergentes ou complementariedades. Resultados: O conjunto de dados, submetido à análise de conteúdo, originou as seguintes categorias de relevância: Serviços e ações de saúde; Práticas educativas; Atividades de mobilização, articulação, participação e controle social; e Monitoramento e avaliação de ações de saúde. Conclusões: Constatam-se avanços na tentativa de atender às demandas em saúde do segmento LGBT, verificados a partir da inclusão de metas relacionadas a este público nos documentos analisados. Em termos práticos, entretanto, observa-se que tais avanços estão restritos a serviços especializados para travestis e transexuais e que as ações em saúde identificadas privilegiam práticas clínicas. De igual modo, a inexistência de práticas de educação permanente e educação em saúde, visualizadas neste estudo, tendem a corroborar com o preconceito institucional e por orientação sexual/identidade de gênero nos serviços do SUS. Mudanças nesse contexto perpassam pela reorganização dos modelos de atenção à saúde, no sentido de aprofundar a discussão acerca de questões consideradas fundamentais para a promoção à saúde desses sujeitos.application/pdfUniversidade Estadual da ParaíbaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Saúde Pública - PPGSPUEPBBRPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPPró-Reitoria de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa - PRPGPHealth servicesDelivery of health careHealth policySexual and gender minoritiesSAUDE COLETIVAMinorias sexuais e de gêneroServiços de saúdeAssistência à saúdePolíticas públicas de saúdePolítica Nacional de Saúde Integral de Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis e Transexuais: Reflexões sobre a assistência à saúdeinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisPedraza, Dixis FigueroaAraújo, Ednaldo Cavalccante deCosta, Gabriela Maria CavalcantiSilva, Jedison Felicianoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessporreponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instname:Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB)instacron:UEPBLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
