Introdution. The advent of health technologies came as an increase in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in neonatal intensive care units (UTIN) through mobile Health (mHealth), in the form of software aimed at mechanical ventilation and its monitoring, medications and electronic protocols, and can increase survival, assist in therapy, promote better care and work quality, in addition to serving as a health education tool. Objective. Develop a mobile application for monitoring ventilatory mechanics in neonatology. Methodology. A cross-sectional study was carried out, with a quantitative approach, of an experimental nature, composed of 20 Physiotherapists who work in UTIN in two cities in the state of Paraíba. A mobile application was developed to calculate neonatal ventilatory mechanics monitoring variables, tested by research participants, who then evaluated its usability and satisfaction, using the validated The System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the application's development were presented on screens and the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics, with absolute, relative, mean and standard deviation frequencies. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the State University of Paraíba (CAAE 54358221.5.0000.5187). Results.The application was developed in the Kotlin programming language for inactive Android, entitled DynamicNeo, with physical therapists as users. It is arranged in two screens, one for presentation and the main one in which parameters and calculations of the determined values can be entered. As for the distribution by sex, 13 women and 7 men responded to the survey.The mean value obtained in the SUS score was 93.25 with ± 8.14, being rated as ‘best achievable’ by 75% of respondents. Conclusion. The application proved to be effective and satisfactory in terms of usability evaluation, presented as a limitation the sample size and requires further studies in the area due to the scarcity of research in health technology involving the area of neonatology.
