Resumo: | This work deals with the mediations: tactical and strategic (CERTEAU, 1998), presented in Tent of Miracles (1969) as flags of different re- appropriations of the novel for the carnival parades by samba schools, here understood as unforeseen uses, such as trickery, triggered by peripheral systems or actions as an imposition of cultural heritage which is considered appropriate. The purpose of this work is to offer an explanation and understanding of the transmissive dynamics between various systems as well as the mediations that are required for such transfer. We argue that these are already present in the text of Jorge Amado and also that they occupy a prominent place in relation to the transmission to other semiosis, in the vast world of Amado’s writing. We see that this inter-sistemic transmigration, often neglected by the literary canon, needs to be analyzed in its full potential. On the other hand, these literature streams allocated to different levels imprint a sense of "popular" or "popularized" were/ are able to give continuity, becoming one of the most significant texts by the author. Thus fulfilling the desire often expressed by him to "write for the people and about the people". As a theoretical framework on which to base our discussions, we use, in addition to studies of Michel Certeau (1998) on the strategies and tactics that make any imposition prove erased and fluid, the semiotic concepts of culture with an emphasis on the procedural functioning of signs offered by Lotman 1996) and inter-systemic constitution of signs in culture offered by Even-Zohar (2007), the long-term transmission of cultural meaning with support on durability proposed by Debray (2000). With regard to the samba school parades, the propositions of Maria Isaura de Queiroz (1992), Roberto da Matta (1997), Maria Laura Viveiros de Castro Cavalcanti (1999), Hiram Araújo (2000) and other scholars are consulted for the theoretical reference. The results confirm our hypothesis that the transmissive dynamics between various systems and the mediations that are used by samba schools are present in the original text. The conclusion shows that what they do is a mediatic visual transfer of these from the source text. |

Submitted by Ricardo Carrasco (ricardogc84@uepb.edu.br) on 2017-02-10T13:19:29Z No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Patrícia Gomes Germano.pdf: 302304346 bytes, checksum: 99b5440f25ef9ab09303f7cf9c7abdb9 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Luciana Medeiros (luciana@uepb.edu.br) on 2017-02-17T14:36:40Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 PDF - Patrícia Gomes Germano.pdf: 302304346 bytes, checksum: 99b5440f25ef9ab09303f7cf9c7abdb9 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2017-02-17T14:36:40Z (GMT). This work deals with the mediations: tactical and strategic (CERTEAU, 1998), presented in Tent of Miracles (1969) as flags of different re- appropriations of the novel for the carnival parades by samba schools, here understood as unforeseen uses, such as trickery, triggered by peripheral systems or actions as an imposition of cultural heritage which is considered appropriate. |
