The research analyzes the relationships and working conditions of Sociology School teachers from the private network of efficient means in favored in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Given the undeniable existence of the education model via private initiative in the country, as well as the reality of the implementation of the Education Reform through Law nº 13.415/2017, which removed the mandatory nature of the discipline of Sociology in Basic Education, there is the objective of understanding how possibilities of exercising Sociology teaching work in this context of unpredictability. From the conciliation of the theoretical arsenal and Pierre Bourdieu and the Sociology of work, there is an investigation of the construction of networks of relationships between teachers, coordinators and other school professionals, which configure and favor employment opportunities through the practices of indication, in addition to to seek strategies for the permanence of these teachers in employment. For this purpose, interviews were carried out with thirteen professionals who were searched through the “snowball” methodology and the data were accessed by thematic analysis. The results show that the teachers of these private establishments, which are owned by the great material infrastructure and the best jobs for the teachers, are guaranteed for a longer time in ideal conditions to carry out the nature of the work of the teachers. Teaching teachers serve the context of workspaces because they have intensified the needs of schools that are tired and find it difficult to carry out their activities as teachers in a qualified way. Given this context of pre-charity of teaching work and the absence of seeking stability, how the networks of relationships prove to be fundamental for teachers to achieve a degree of feeling of security in the face of job opportunities.
