The present work proposes to analyze the relationship between landscape and literature, as well as the dimensions of the environmental perception concerning the lived and dreamed landscape, in the works that make up the autofictional cycle of Bartolomeu Campos de Queirós: Indez (1989), Por parte de pai (1995) and Vermelho Amargo (2011). In this way, we seek, in particular, a reflection on how the spaces and places experienced by the author influenced him to the point of modifying his worldview. When carrying out the research on the reinvented landscapes and expressed in the writing of these works, we emphasize, through subjective perception, the material and symbolic expression of the sense of place. In the light of the concepts of topophilia and topophobia, employed by the Chinese-American geographer Yu-Fu-Tuan, we went through the pages of the corpus of the work on canvas, seeking, in the experiences and memories of the narrators, the relationship with topophilic places, that is, of joy and affection, or topophobic, that is, of dramas and aversion, which are condensed in the narratives
