This thesis proposes to foster a discussion about Party, starting from the individuals who create it in the city and in Candomblé. By analyzing their stories, we aim to understand the overflows and potentialities that may emerge from the idea that the Party is a characteristic of the human being. Therefore it is possible to live a festive daily life. We understand the overflow as something with a grandiosity, a richness, and a beauty that cannot be contained and begin to occupy new spaces, like the ancient festive corporal memories, which search pathways through spaces and times individuals have generously shared with us in this research. We aim to glimpse how African diaspora members have produced Parties throughout space and time and how educational networks and cultural processes insert in the overflows. Consequently, displacing the concept of Party from something external to the individuals' daily life and space and time to the potentialities of a festive quotidian reality, formed by micro-parties and cheerful knowledge production processes. The Party as a place of matches, mismatches and rematches that subvert the logic of power, including the temporal ones, and instigate educational potentialities, which descendants of enslaved people have developed because they understand the body as a protagonist in the weaving of knowledge, and they see corporal actions as powerful agents of sacralization and enchantment.
