Resumo: | Through a bibliographic and qualitative research, different forms of conceptualization of resilience and the conceptual tools common to such concepts are investigated in the light of Cognitive Linguistics. To reach such goal, the data analyzed is composed by texts found in the Sociedade Brasileira de Resiliência (SOBRARE) website, by images reffering to the Models of Determining Beliefs from the Resilience Aproach and by symbols that represent resilience in different cultures. For this purpose, the theoretical framework of the Extended Conceptual Metaphor Theory (KÖVECSES, 2017, 2020) is adopted. This work is guided by the following questions: what are the cognitive processes underlying the analyzed conceptualizations of resilience? Which conceptual tools are common to the concepts of resilience covered by the analyzed data? The results from the analyzes shows hat there are several cognitive processes underlying the resilience conceptualizations analyzed here, such as metaphors, blends, metonymies, activation of mental spaces, frames, compressions, domains and image schemes. Many of those are recurrent, as was observed that among seventeen (17) analyzes, ten (10) of them are structured by the STRENGTH image schema and twelve (12) by the OBJECT image schema. Besides these image schemas, SOURCE-PATH-GOAL and PROCESS are also very recurret. As for the most common frames, those are the ones related to OBJECT (3), PLANT (3), ANIMALS (3) and BODY (2). Referring to the most common domains to characterize resilience, there are OBJECT (7), ANIMALS (3), PLANT (2) and BODY (2) |

Referring to the most common domains to characterize resilience, there are OBJECT (7), ANIMALS (3), PLANT (2) and BODY (2)Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e qualitativa, investigam-se, à luz da Linguística Cognitiva, diferentes formas de conceptualização da resiliência e as ferramentas conceptuais comuns a tais conceitos. Referente aos domínios mais comuns para caracterizar resiliência, há OBJETO (7), ANIMAIS (3), PLANTA (2) e CORPO (2)Submitted by Eliana CEH/B (liliprata2000@gmail.com) on 2021-09-30T18:40:53Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao - Karine Souza da Silva - 2021 - Completa.pdf: 4320172 bytes, checksum: 1da27d3d13e7a37d11b1e8a4b39fff54 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-09-30T18:40:53Z (GMT). Through a bibliographic and qualitative research, different forms of conceptualization of resilience and the conceptual tools common to such concepts are investigated in the light of Cognitive Linguistics.
